Hair Between the Sheets

Pros: Price
Cons: Change the bedding.
This hotel really needs to look closely at their staff, the bedding was the worst I have ever seen!

It was very quiet and peaceful. The manager was extremely friendly and outgoing.

Nice owners or employees.

Pros: Price and convenience.
Cons: Newer shower curtain.
Location: Was only there a short time.
Just needed a place to sleep for a while to go to a funeral so it was fine for that.

Not what expected

Posted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: coffee was good. Office clerk was patient and trying to resolve check-in issues.
Trouble with check-in. Saying card had been denied after charged for room. A/C did not work properly. Sheets on bed did not appear to be clean. Continental breakfast that advertised doughnuts. none were available. Hot water was just enough to keep one from getting chilled

A pit among pits

Only stay if it's your very last resort. It was the cheapest hotel available and for what it is, it's too expensive.

Photo is a bit misleading...

Pros: The location.
Cons: Linen upgrades. Make sure the exterior side doors lock at night and require a hotel key!
Location: I wasn't there for pleasure. Really, who goes to Opelika, Alabama to sight-see?!
The additional exterior rooms, which apparently the lowest rate actually applies to, look a bit like Bates Motel. I had to pay more to stay in the "Main" hotel and my room was near an exterior door that was never locked - it actually had silver duct tape on it so that it wouldn't lock. When I arrived, there were people sitting outside their "Bates Motel" rooms who looked a bit scary. That said, the room itself was clean and the furniture was okay. The sheets were old but clean. If I had it to do over again, I would go someplace else.
