“Will stay here on my visits”

Clean rooms, parking close to rooms, and I felt safe walking from my room to the pool at night. Very friendly staff! Close to popular restaurants and shopping.

“No frills”

Definitely a no-frills place to stay. Only staff I saw was when I checked in--very friendly. Stayed four nights. Bed made and fresh towels only one night. Room had a distinctive smell of urine -- probably in carpet from previous pets. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Would recommend if you're not expecting a 5-stay place to stay with all the amenities.

“Auburn Trip”

A couple of miles from the campus, located off Okelika Ave but very reasonable and near restaurants. Very clean.

“Nice accomendations”

This was a very comfortable and clean motel with nice accomendations all around. The room was exceptionally clean and the motel clerk was helpful and friendly.

“Trip to auburn”

We booked this trip in Feb and upon arrival in Apr they informed us that our non-smoking room when it came in through expedia was not available. We were to stay in the room for two nights. This was a large event weekend in Auburn. We decided to try out the room. We were in it for 2 hours and decided after we turned the table light on and the nicotine from the lightbulb made the smoke ohh so much better that no would not stay inn that room. We told the staff that since staying for two nights and since they had since Feb to inform us that our room was not available we could not stay in that room. They did move us to a new room.

“Clean, simple and compact”

We had an overall good experience here. At first I was taken aback because I was expecting a traditional suite with a bed and separate sitting area. However, it was one large room with a queen bed, a twin bed, a bar that served as a table and desk along with a kitchenette that had a small but full-sized refrigerator, a sink, a microwave and a two-burner stove. It was compact, clean and functional. I was disappointed that there wasn't a sofa because we planned to visit with friends in the room. There is a comfortable recliner in the room but other than that, there are only beds for seating. One thing about the beds . . . . TERRIFIC bedding (except for a cheap spread but who cares about that; it's the bedding that counts) and a very comfortable mattress. Slept great! Once I was over my disappointment about the sofa, I grew to enjoy our cozy room. It was like a blast from the past . . . . with the kitchenette, it would have been a luxury suite in the 70's. One thing (in keeping with the simple and basic theme) there was only a bar of soap provided in the bathroom so bring your own shampoo, etc. Also, there was no hair dryer. I called the front desk and they did have one available which I went and got. There was a good iron and ironing board and a small but decent-sized closet. Quick drive to the campus and you're next to the mall. Would I stay here again? Yes, IF I did not want to use the room to visit with other adults.

“well worth staying”

the hotel is within walking distance of restaurants & 'fast food' outlets and it is safe to walk around at night. shops are also within walking distance. the rooom is quiet and clean.

“Comfortable Stay!”

I made the reservation with a little apprehension not knowing the place but the room was very comfortable, great bed, super clean and everything was well kept. Was just off Auburn Opelika Rd so it was convenient to both towns and mall! I plan to stay there again! Great Value!!

“Great place”

If we ever need to return to Alburn and are in need of a hotel, we will definitely check availability here! Very accommodating especially if you have pets.
