“Great place for the price”

The outside looked well used but the room was perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

“Friendly”

I was satisfied with the location and the service yes we had a few issues and yes its not being kept up as nice as we would have liked but overall it was not a dive and trust me we saw a lot of those closer to the base , we were also in town for a Ft Benning Graduation and [my grandson] and everyone there was very friendly I would especially like to thank Heather at the service desk

“In a word... horrible. Do NOT book this hotel... or you will be terribly disappointed.”

The only positive points... the woman who checked us late at night and the pool (but even the pool didn't seem to have been cleaned on either day we swam there.) So disappointed. We were there for my son's Army graduation and were looking forward to a nice relaxing time together as a family... what a disappointment. I'll definitely be contacting Expedia.

Go into Columbus... NOT Phenix City... never have I seen so many tatoo parlors or bars!

“Affordable but Not Great - Sorry Phenix Quality”

While it seems that this motel stays busy, I was not impressed by my room. The breakfast was greatly appreciated and very good. The lady who checked me in was very nice as was the rest of the staff, but the room was dingy and only had 2 sources of light. One of the sources was blessedly the bathroom. It was clean, but it was depressing. I wasn't trying to impress anyone, and like I said, the room appeared to be clean, just dingy. I would give it another chance, but I would specifically request a different room.

The area of the motel, because it is affordable, clean, and convenient.

Outdoors or beach

Very soon the Hooch will be opened up through Columbus. The white water experience is expected to be very good.

“Nice for the price”

This hotel was conveniently located with a lot of restaurants and shopping close to it. The rooms were nice, nothing fancy. Very great deal for the price. The only negative was I felt the cleaning staff could have been a little more meticulous in their cleaning. Overall, enjoyed the stay.

“EXCELLENT!!!!!!”

My family stayed at this Quality Inn when my nephew was graduating Airborne School. If you are military and plan to visit this area, I would highly recommend staying here! The staff are friendly and helpful. The new free breakfast buffet is fantastic. Warm and delicious with several things to choose from. Plus you can go back for seconds. If you are traveling to Fryer Drop Zone (Ft Benning), just go onto 421, to 165 and it brings you directly to the drop zone! Fast and easy. I hope you enjoy your stay here as much as my family did!

“Get what you pay for”

This was quite possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in but I know you get what you pay for. The first night there were kids running up and down the breezeway all night and they decided to pull the fire alarm 3 times between 11:30pm and 1:30am. The next morning the shower had no happy medium between boiling hot and freezing. That was fixed the next day since there was no water at all! The best part of this hotel was the people. They were all very friendly. The breakfast was really good as well as the AJ's sports bar food. Over all, I knew I was getting low quality and I wanted a cheap price. I got both.

Area recommendations

I would stay in the Norther Columbus area. It is a lot nicer and newer.
