Very Inexpensive, and it showsPosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Only positive is the location and the staff at least tried to be helpful.
Cons: - bad smells in hallway - wifi didn't work. - first refrigerator in my room didn't work. - constant noise from neighboring rooms, yelling guests.
Location: Convenient to restaurants, I-85, and Auburn campus
Stay Lodge is an extended stay property, not a motel per se. So no amenities, but on the plus size does have a kitchenette in room. This particular property is dated, smells bad, and lacking in some of the basic things they advertise having.

Front desk closes as 6PM???Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Location was good
Cons: I guess this works for them, but I know I would not stay there again.
This seemed more like a place one might stay between jobs as a short term housing facility. The front desk actually had a wire cage that came down and closed it at 6PM - so clearly they are not that interested in customer service. The room was clean and the A/C worked great, but I would not call this a hotel. There was no real closet, just a wire rack on the wall.

Weird people and unwelcoming staffPosted Aug 4, 2014
Upon checking in I was met with a very unpleasant attitude and deamenor of the two ladies upfront. There were some pretty sketchy people living here. I did not feel safe at all. The front doors were locked in daytime but unlocked at night, odd! The floors were stained, walls were paper thin. I literally heard peoples entire conversations. My comforter was stained with what looked like nail polish. Rooms had bare minimum necessities. I just wouldn't recommend

AwfulPosted Jul 31, 2014
One towel- 2 cups- no phone. Guest clerk left right after check in for the night. No soap, coffee machine - no coffee... Need I go on? Don't waste your money; rather have slept in my car!

I stayed one night and had to go!Posted May 12, 2014
Supposedly new hotel and looks like it was built in the 1950s. Staff leaves at 6:00pm and they don't return til 10:00am. At night there is no one to help you if needed and the people at the hotel hang around outside are very suspicious and shady. My advice, stay here only as a last resort!!!!

No Stay LodgePosted Apr 15, 2014
The place appeared to be geared to long term stay for migrant workers. The office closed at 9 PM so I did not get to check in. Your page didn't offer that info. The place doesn't need to be listed as a hotel.

a bit out of town and a bit weird by nightPosted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: price big room easy going
Cons: better tables longer working reception
Location: not many, actually
reception works until 9pm only, thus they have a weird way to serve night guests... otherwise a good place to stay for this price

Had never stayed in one before. I felt safe.Posted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: The beds were not on the floor and the mattress sleep good.
Cons: Better washcloths and towels. But for the price it was still good. I can live with that. I can bring my own towels from home next time.
Location: It was convenient to shopping and food locations.
I have never stayed in a Stay Lodge Hotel before. I was very please and the staff was very friendly. The sign coming into the hotel should be lighted up so if you go out and come back to wouldn't miss your turn. (from the main street)
