“classy”

This was a very nice place. It is more expensive than I'd pay for just a place to stay, but for a special occasion it is nice. We were there for my son's wedding, so that's special enough. Other than Auburn U, there is not a whole lot to do right around the area.

Area recommendations

For a great restaurant, I'd recommend the Yellow Hammer about 10mi NW in the dinky little town of Waverly. Great food, ambience, service and great time. You'd never find it if you didn't know about it.

“Great Hotel”

We were in town for a college tour of Auburn and this hotel was conveniently located. It is directly across the street from campus and allowed us to park in the lot after we checked out, saving us the headache of finding campus parking. The hotel is well-maintained and very comfortable. They have a nice restaurant with buffet option.

“Perfect Auburn hotel”

This is the perfect hotel for a football or basketball weekend in Auburn. The hotel is walking distance to everything---we never had to get in the car. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is fantastic.

“Thin Walls”

The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Auburn University. The rooms are clean and the hotel is well maintained. The only problem I have had while staying there (I have stayed there several times) is the noise level between the rooms. I have had to call the front desk on two occasions because I was not able to get to sleep because of the noise in the adjoining room. In both cases it was after 11:00pm and they sent someone up to quiet my neighbors.

“Where to Stay When You Are Touring Auburn University”

This hotel is the place to stay when you are taking a student tour of Auburn University! It is a first-class hotel and is conveniently located at the edge of the campus...you can be anywhere on campus within minutes by either walking or taking the university bus that stops at the hotel. It is also very clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. We will make this our place to stay when we return!
