Great location close to Myrtle sports complex. Liked having computers and refigerators in all rooms. Enjoyed our stay.

“Big City Hotel in a Small Town Neighborhood”

This hotel is great! They have in-room computers in addition to a 24-hr business center. The room also had a fridge and microwave. The room was immaculate, as was every part of the hotel I saw. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Elisha at the front desk. They provide shampoo and lotion in the room, but also have other misc toiletries at the desk if you need something.The outdoor pool was great (although indoor is always preferred), but they should put a room key-lock on the gate. When we were in there one day, a group of teens came from down the street and just came in and jumped in the pool! My only real complaint would be the food situation. Options for delivery are VERY limited, and there is no restaurant on-site. Once we got our rental car this was not an issue though, and I would most definitely stay here again!!

We visit a family member in assisted living in the area. This is the best hotel in the Winter Haven-Auburndale area we have found.

Nice hotel, freindly, helpful staff. My only caveat is if you are a light sleeper. There are tracks not too far away and freight and passenger trains rumble through with their horns blairing. This would be true for any hotel in the area not just the Best Western.

“Unhappy Customer”

For 2 of the 3 nights I had no a/c they could not move me due to being at full capacity. They came in said they fixed problem and both nights a/c would turn off in middle of night. By the 3rd day they replaced the a/c unit, alittle to late.

“Worst Customer Service Ever.”

When we checked in it was after 10 pm. I had my sleeping 3-year old and 10 year old daughter with me. We went up to the room and my key wouldn't work. I walked back down to the desk (sleeping 3-year old remember) and the lady reprogrammed my keys. I walked back upstairs and the keys still wouldn't work. I thought I was doing something wrong so I tried a few times using the key in different directions. Then, much to my surprise, a man walked out of the room and asked what we were doing? She tried giving us a room with 3 people already in it! I went back downstairs and told her - and instead of apologizing, she told me that those people in that room checked out earlier in the day! REALLY??? I was amazed. Then she told me her general manager did the room assignments so that it wasn't her fault. I couldn't believe it. So we did get a room - right beside the service door by the ice machine - and barely slept at all that night from the noise. We had reserved 2 nights, but when they offered us no retribution the next day we checked out and didn't stay. Customer Service at it's WORST. The hotel is fairly new and clean. Aside from the shower creaking the entire time we used it (including when my 3 YO was in it, so it wasn't a weight issue) It would have been ok, but I paid much more per night for a very standard 2 queen room than I normally would - I expected a little more service for that. If I would've paid less, I wouldn't have expected any more than I received.
