“Will Definitely Return!”

As far as a hostel goes, this place offers quite a bit for as little as it costs. Full kitchen area (Buy or Bring Food to Cook & Refrigerator Storage Bag) WiFi (Hourly Charge is $3.00 NZD), Laundry Machines ($4.00 Wash/$2.00 Dry NZD), sheets on bed changed daily, very polite staff, free storage lockers under beds (Bring own lock or buy one for $5.00 NZD). This is a complete a-la carte facility, but for the price very well worth it! Room Key Deposit ($20.00 NZD Refundable), Laundry Detergent ($3.00 NZD), Body Soap ($1.00 NZD), Bath Towel Rental ($3.00 NZD) and much more. My lesson is to bring everything from home to save money, the bed, kitchen, storage locker, and usage of the shower are the only things included. - Will I return? Most definitely! - Enjoy your stay, maybe I will see you there?

Area recommendations

The Viaduct is just down the street, kinda expensive but has a lot going on during the weekends, lots of shopping nearby, a dry-cleaners around the corner, Domino's Pizza across the street along with McDonalds, Wendy's, Subway, and many more places to eat. The airport shuttle service ($23.00 NZD Roundtrip) practically drops you off at the door. Auckland is a wonderful place to visit, I look forward to seeing it again someday.

Getting around

NextBike rents bicycles for ($16.00 NZD) a day, the rental stall is across the street from the hostel, as cheap as it is, I must have ridden over 100 miles in a single rental. (Bring Your Own Seat) unless you are used to a very firm seat. Lock is included and optional helmet in the rental price, you can even leave the bike at a different location from where you've rented it. There is a free bus, but very limited area in the center of town, car rental is kinda pricey and parking a pain. - Have fun!

“so-so”

it located in the center of the city-AUCKLAND.very convince to everywhere,easy to get on the air bus. however,the room's blanket was quite dirty;door of toilet facing to the bed directly;and the air-conditioner made noisy all over the night,too hard to fall sleep in that kind of conditions especially traveled a long time;the room was cold in the morning...
