“Convienent to Remuera”

This is a smaller, family run hotel. Thus the do not have a reception staffed 24 hrs. When you arrive on an overnight flight from the US that gets to NZ very early in the morning, the reception is likely to be unattended. When we arrived (flight landed at 4:30 AM, we got to the hotel at just before 7 AM) the reception was unattended, but we only had to wait about 20 minutes to get into the room. The hotel is small but certainly comfortable enough. There is some traffic noise from Great South Road and you can hear trains running nearby during the day, but it was not intolerable. As is typical with many (probably most) New Zealand hotels, there is a small kitchenette in each room (fridge, two-element cook top, microwave, utensils and crockery) that comes in very useful. The hotel is well located for access to Remuera, Parnell, One Tree Hill and surrounds, there is plenty of parking. For us, in NZ to visit family who live in that area, it was very well located.
