“In the heart of the city”

My husband and I stayed at City Life Hotel for 1 night before flying out of Auckland Airport. This hotel is located in the busy streets of downtown and is within walking distance to the Harbour, Sky Jump, Viaduct, shopping, restaurants & more. It reminded me of staying in the heart of midtown Manhattan. The bell service & concierge went out of their way to give us directions, instructions & any additional info. We felt like VIPs. We had a room on the 22nd floor and heard no noises as other reviews stated. It was a clean & trendy 1 bedroom and we loved it. We had a rental car and the hotel was a little hard to find. The valet parking & entrance are actually behind the hotel down a ramp (vs street address given) so I would call ahead & get better directions. Overall, we LOVED our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Good value”

CityLife is a must-stay for visitors to Auckland. It is centrally located to Queen Street, and the ferry dock as well as SkyCity and parks and other attractions. The room was snug and comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We felt we enjoyed a very good deal for the cost of the room. My two complaints are minor: 1, the bathroom could have used some plaster and caulking work in two tiny areas; and, 2, the pool could have been heated. However, those are minor issues. We happily recommend City Life to anyone.

“I loved it!”

Although I just wanted a standard room I ended up getting a deluxe suite as this was a cheaper rate (?). Hotel was super central so great if you only have a few days, shopping and cinemas on the doorstep and ferry terminal is only a 10 minute walk away. Staff were friendly and the room was spacious and super clean. Was great to have a washer and dryer and a hughe fridge. There are no views and if you want a really quiet room ask for a higher floor. Having said that as long as you keep the windows closed it is quiet and it is such a great location and amazing value for money that you dont care about the lack of view. I loved it and will be coming back!

“Pleasant stay right in the city centre”

The staff were pleasant and proficient, the room I had was upgraded to a huge and comfortable suite, and as a newcomer to NZ who found its heating systems kind of confusing, I was relieved to find this one entirely straightforward.

“Excellent for central Auckland”

My wife and I stayed here in a Deluxe Suite, which included a NZ queen bedroom, a good bathroom w/shower, and a kitchen/livingroom with all the conveniences. Having a laundry and drier in the room was especially useful because our bags arrived two days after we did. The staff was very helpful and the room service breakfast was excellent. Next time I will book a longer stay.

“Very good location”

Located right by the harbour on the main street. You can walk around for food and entertainment. The hotel was very clean and the staff very polite.

Great price for the wonderful room that you get! We had a deluxe suit with a harbor view. The decor was very classy and the bed was very comfortable. All the staff was very friedly and helpful. This was our second stay and will continue to stay here. It is so conveniently located in the city that you can walk or catch the bus to everything.

“Great Place in Great Location”

The CityLife Auckland hotel is right in the heart of it all and the views from the upper floors are amazing. The room was very comfortable, and the bed even more so. I would definitely stay here again.
