Great location inner city Auckland.

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: Location, staff great what else could you ask for!!
Location: Shopping in Queens Street, close to the ferry terminal. Caught the ferry over to Devonport for the day. Most enjoyable.
After a twelve day cruise Sydney-Auckland a great way to spend our last two days . Found some great places to enjoy some of the fantastic NZ produce. Would defiantly recommend City Life Hotel.

Great View of the Alley.

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Quality of room, hotel location in CBD easy six block from cruise ship
Cons: Staff information.
Location: We splurged to get a room with a view and we got an alley instead.
Spacious lwell appointed iving room/kitchenette suite with beautiful TV. Six channels. Beautiful view of the service alley between buildings. Arrived and asked about airport bus service and found desk staff pleasant but uninformed. We were exhausted but had to wait well past 2:00 to get a room. The clock radio in the room had specific instructions for operation that did not match the device which was itself unintelligible. The resulting early morning wake up call left with the operator never came. Early morning desk was very helpful in arranging an economical taxi to the airport.

Nice hotel centrally located

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Spacious rooms with laundry facilities
Stayed one night in November. The room was large and clean and we enjoyed our stay there. The airport bus stops right outside the hotel and the driver of the bus was very clear as to which bus stop we should get off at. This made the transfer from the airport very easy. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance from landmarks.

Central city location

Posted Nov 30, 2014
The room, staff, cleanliness and service were all very good. I would not hesitate to come back and stay except for one disappointing thing which proves to be a major factor. That was the night noise. We were staying on the 6th floor and down below was a night club and the noise kept us awake both nights until 4am.. Other than that it was great.

Nice hotel right downtown.

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, service and location.
Cons: nothing.
Location: All the attractions of Auckland City [the tower, port, bus and train stations, theaters, stores, restaurants, bars] are within walking distance.
We had a split stay with a 3 day trip between them. The hotel kept our unneeded bags while we were away and brought them up to the new room on our return. The service from all the staff was friendly and good. The hotel was very clean and very conveniently located so walking to city sites was easy.
