Weekend visit for a Concert at Vectre ArenaPosted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Location and service
Cons: Parking. This was a nightmare. we had to arrive very early to guarantee a park. Not enough parks for hotel visitors.
Location: Location was great for our purpose.
We were thrilled with the location of the hotel and the amenities it offered. We dined both nights in the Restaurant and found the food great and at an affordable price.

I stayed on a last minute trip to AKL. Great quiet room, with very effective air conditioning. Cost effective and neat, will stay again.

First night in a new land!Posted Apr 1, 2015
After an exhausting two flight arrival from LA, we needed a well located comfortable hotel. We found the staff to be welcoming and the location perfect for our needs.

Average hotel close to Vector ArenaPosted Mar 24, 2015
The hotel is close to the Vector Arena which is why I chose it. It was tidy and the staff were helpful. The room was small but had everything needed. The bathroom could do with a renovation. The two negatives were the uncomfortable small bed and the restaurant. We ate twice at the restaurant, dinner was average but the cooked buffet breakfast was appalling and expensive. $25 each and limited choice compared to other places with a similar priced breakfast. They didn't restock the buffet when items ran out. The food was lukewarm and by the time we sat down to eat it it was cold. They apologized but we were still charged for it.

Good Standard of hotel reasonably centralPosted Mar 23, 2015
Enjoyed our Two night stay, and would suggest you have the breakfast as it was good value and good quality. Hotel was good standard with friendly staff and reasonably central in Auckland (about a 10 min walk to waterfront). it is at the top of a hill which can be a bit tiring at the end of an evening. Overall, a good Hotel.

Good hotelPosted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Good room with comfortable bed & pillow, close to everywhere I went, friendly staff, cheap room
Cons: Offering free Wifi in hotel rooms,
Location: On the edge of the city, 5-10 mins walk to Viaduct & harbour & Queen St shopping
I recently stayed here 2 nights on a business trip & hotel was good - close to where my meetings were, good room with comfortable bed & pillow, friendly staff. The hotel is a dated so not sure it's somewhere I'd stay when on holidays.
