We booked the cheapest room for two nights, but when we got there, Andy told us that we're their only guests for the weekend, so they upgraded our room to the suite. 😊 The suite was stunning with a big living room and kitchen, also with ecstatic views. When we left the room the next day to tour around the island, we went back to a cleanroom. Although, we didn't expect a cleaning service. They served breakfast inside our room, and we could use the hot tub as long as we can. The pool was seasonal, so we weren't able to use it as it is wintertime. The hosts were lovely and hospitable. We felt very welcomed.

The hosts of this outstanding property are about as good as it gets. Breathtaking priceless views of the Auckland Gulf with 5-star rooms. Soak up the views while soaking in the pool. Outstanding.

Andy and Jenny were amazing hosts, they continued to go out of their way to make us feel welcome and terrific guides to what Waiheke has to offer. Views were out of this world, very tidy and clean and had everything you needed for a perfect holiday:) 11 out of 10!

Nothing is too much trouble for them from organising tours to booking restaurants to recommending (and supplying) beautiful wines from the island. Amazing place, amazing hospitality as well. The views are incredible and we would definitely stay here again. Because this location is about 35-40 min walk to the main town Oneroa we may decide to hire a car next time. However, there were plenty of walkable beaches and tracks that we got to explore.

Great room with wonderful views and top service.
A friend and I had a great stay here, great location and very helpful service - thanks Andy. The room was well appointed and comfortable, and had an wonderful view back to Oneroa and along the northern coast and beyond, making for a dramatic presence. Everything was first class and I cant think of a single thing to change or improve. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a terrific experience at Enclosure Bay. Andy was extremely helpful, picking us up from the ferry, offering restaurant recommendations and booking a wine tasting. The property has a beautiful view. Our room was large and clean with a balcony overlooking the water.

We really can't say enough about what an amazing experience we had at Enclosure Bay. Andy, the owner of the hotel, offered to pick us up from the Ferry Terminal and welcomed us into the hotel with a quick with and gracious hospitality. If that weren't enough, the views are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. You have 180 degrees of unparalleled coastline views from the rooms. Andy also provides a detailed list (with descriptions) of the many restaurants, wineries and activities available on the island. Can't recommend this hotel enough. Thanks Andy!

The room was great and the views amazing! Very comfortable amenities. It is a little tricky to walk around the area because it does not have sidewalks and at night we used a cell phone as a flashlight for visibility, but the bus system is pretty good for getting around the island.

The View!!
Spectacular view from the Waiheke Suite! Beautifully appointed room with everything you need. Our host Andy was warm and genuine. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Highly recommended.

Enclosure Bay is a great place to enjoy your Waiheke experience from. We were well looked after by the hosts. the room was comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. Easy access to the numerous wineries and sight that Waiheke offers.

Amazing experience!!
The suite is very spacious with amazing view! The host is wonderful - he is friendly, helpful and welcoming! The suite is clean with full amenities. The location is a bit far from town but the host transferred us to and from the ferry pier and helped us to organise wine tours and taxi services. We had a superb experience in Enclosure Bay!! Love it :D

We had an amazing time on Waiheke Island, and our accommodation at Enclosure Bay made it even more perfect. We stayed in the Great Barrier Suite which has to be the best place on the island. Andy and Jenny were lovely hosts, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They also delivered to us an amazing breakfast each day

Enclosure Bay B&B was a true find. Our room had a fantastic view with a balcony which we could dine on and watch the beautiful sunsets. Andy and Jenny were our hosts and were so much fun and gracious hosts. They answered all of our requests. I would highly recommend them and their home . Our experience at Enclosure Bay was sensational. The setting is absolutely outstanding and the design, amenities, breakfast and service are at the highest level. The location and complimentary shuttle service from the passenger ferry terminal were enormously helpful. Spend a night or a week and you will be shaped by the privacy, nature and simple elegance.

This place was amazing...completely gorgeous views, private room & clean. It even has a great above ground jacuzzi overlooking the bay. Close to town center and Andy was tremendously hospitable. Would highly recommend any time of year!

The best kept secret in the NZ - 11 out of 10!!
From the warm welcome when we first arrived to the views of pure paradise that took our breath away; our stay here most definitely exceeded expectations! Andy & Jenny are the most gracious hosts who went over and above, to make our stay exceptional. They are the perfect blend of being helpful and attentive, while simultaneously keeping their distance and giving you space to enjoy the oasis they have created together. What we LOVED and will never forget: - Each night we hopped in the spa and watched the sunset over the ocean - the beauty is indescribable. - One of my favourite 'inside things' is the shower head, which had multiple functions - the "rain" setting providing the most relaxing shower I have ever experienced. - My sister is a qualified interior designer and was blown away by the styling and decor of our room. - The bus stop is only 2 short streets away and takes you almost anywhere you want to go on the island. I am NOT a public transport person (mainly because of my poor sense of direction), and even this was an enjoyable experience, as all the locals on the bus were so helpful and gave my sister and I tips on what to see & easy-to-follow directions. I am sure I have missed things, however our stay here was absolutely and entirely faultless. We loved it so much, we have planned to create a birthday trip for our dad just so we can return to the Enclosure Bay suites! The photos don't even come close to doing it justice - it's a must see, must stay!

Great accommodations with wonderful hosts.
This is a beautiful place to stay! Was as pretty as the pictures indicate. Andy was great about looking after us, with rides to and from the ferry and a late might cheese platter when the rain kept us in for the evening. Also set us up for a wine tour to our personal preferences. Enjoyed a great breakfast in our room with our great view every morning. Felt very spoiled!!

Perfect retreat
This is a luxury B+B with the most amazing views. It really does have the "wow factor" from the minute you walk into the property - even in the "standard room" ("Little Barrier") which we had. You need a car to drive into town - which was also handy to drive around the island, rather than rely on buses or taxis. Many of the restaurants/bars/cafes/wineries are not open for dinner - so plan accordingly. A drive around the east side of the island is fantastic - mainly on unmade roads, but safe and easy to navigate.

Perfect two days
We arrived the last weekend of the "offseason" and were upgraded to a fabulous suite with fantastic views. Sitting on the room terrace with the sunset and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc was pure delight. Rental car needed to explore the "back side" of the island, especially the stunningly beautiful Man O'War farm and winery, but you can take a bus from the ferry terminal to very near the hotel and to nearest shopping / restaurant area in Oneroa. You can also walk from hotel to Oneroa, about 20 minutes, but beware: largely uphill on way back. Winding, narrow roads make designated driver a MUST if you are going on a winery crawl. We went in mid-October, when everything was lush and green - and it wasn't crowded. Too cold to swim, but that owed to unseasonably cool & rainy spring.
