“Auckland Airport Hotel”
This is a convenient hotel for travelers who need to spend an overnight at a hotel near the Auckland Airport. The drawback is that it's located in an industrial park, so there is absolutely nothing near it. I was looking for a place to get something to eat, as the hotel restaurant has a rather unappealing menu, and I was out of luck due to the location. I've stayed here once before and it was obvious that the rooms have been updated and I found them much more comfortable. The hotel does provide a free airport to hotel shuttle, but trying to find it's exact pick-up location is not easy. I called the hotel and they told me one spot and the rather unpleasant driver insisted they were wrong. If you're arriving at the international arrivals hall it's exit 9 and if you're arriving at the domestic arrivals hall it's exit 3, but be sure to cross the street to wait or you'll be out of luck as they just drive right by you.
“Close to the airport”
We stayed here for 2 nights when we first arrived in Auckland. There was a courtesy shuttle that picked us up from the airport even though we arrived around 12 midnight. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast at the restaurant inside the hotel and everything you need in the room including complementry cookies, milk, coffee, tea and hot cocoa. We even made use of the laundry facilities right across the hall from our room. If you're looking for a nice clean place to stay near the airport this is a great hotel for that. Just know that you are not in the main city of Auckland.
“Good overnight stay close to Auckland airport”
While the Jet Park is a 70's style building on the outside, our room had been attractively renovated, and the amenities were all we might expect. It was clean, modern and tastefully decorated, though a bit small for two queen beds, a desk and chair, and another overstuffed chair. Relatives who were with us who normally stay at the Holiday Inn were favorably impressed, saying our Jet Park room was much nicer. Even though we were at the end of the hall closest to the elevators, our room was very quiet. Our only dissatisfaction was with the restaurant. When I asked the maitre'd if they could seat six adults and a baby, I was told that we needed to make "reservations". So I did...for 20 min. later! It took close to an hour to get our food, which was quite good when we finally got it!
“Convenience to airport for onward flight”
The hotel was a pleasant surprise for a low cost airport location. The room was a generous size, clean and convenient internet in room. The restaurant was very well appointed and the food delicious. Would stay again if traveling in New Zealand again.

We chose the hotel because it is near the airport at Auckland. The hotel was quiet, the restaurant food was good and not expensive and the responsiveness of staff was good. For example, because our meal was late in coming at lunch time (they had a big conference on at the time), we were not charged for the meal - without having to ask. The rooms are basic, but comfortable enough for one night and the shuttle to the airport is free (unlike hotels at Sydney Airport, for example). All in all, I would recommend the hotel for anyone who wants to be close to the airport for their early morning flight.

Prompt free airport shuttle & courteous staffing. Hotel is nicely appointed, huge bathroom with quality amenities. Didn't get a chance to eat at restaurant-but the menu was impressive.
