Cranky but clean

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: free parking, friendly reception and clean, pleanty of restaurants handy although mainly asian.
Cons: the lift is a bit scary when it crashes to a stop otherwise leave it as is and keep the price low
Location: Top of Queen st close to Krd and the Whitehouse
An old building a bit weathered and tired, dont expect anything flash but the room s are clean and tidy and comfortable. Would suit someone just looking for a place to sleep after a late show or party. Best bits are free parking and its inexpensive. Its at the top end of Queen st so its a fair walk downtown but is handy to Krd and the bus stops just outside.

Nice sigle room share batrhoom

Posted Aug 4, 2014
The position the hotel is good ,in the end of the main street but you can walk (20 min)or get the bus (10 min)for 50 cent to go where all the shop & restaurant are! The bus from and to the airport is in front of the hotel, super confortable! I got the single room tidy but nice and clean, better than share a room in backpacker !the room was a with share bathroom and it was very clean

Family backpacker accommodation

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Very very basic hotel, clean tidy and cheap. Very tiny bathroom but recently renovated although shower heads very low if you are 5foot 8 inches or taller. Suitable hotel if looking for a short overnight stay. Restaurant food was basic but of reasonable quality for the price. Beer was flat and passed its use by date, wine was acceptable.

Great Staff , Amazing Location and Pleasant Stay

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: Staff were great and Special Thanks to Janelle who is very helpful and I appreciate all her great efforts.
Cons: The internet is horrible as you are limited only to 200MB which is not enough even for web surfing/browsing.
Location: SkyTower , All Sightseeing locations , Queens Road , Kae Road , Great Restaurants , NZTA , AA , Banks and everything as its centrally located in CBD
The hotel is located at Queens Street and Kae road where it is full of great activities in the morning and at night. It is very close to great shops , restaurants , banks , ATM machines , Pharmacies and etc. Its very close to all Sightseeing locations if you are coming for tourism and very close to AA/NZTA. The Hotel direct view is the SkyTower which was great. Hotel has a dedicated parking. Staff are very nice , accommodating and friendly. Special Thanks to Janelle as she always get out of her way to help guests and fulfil their needs.
