Tis Motor lodge was a friendly comfortable little place, the staff at the time were very helpful and we really enjoyed our 17 day stay.

“perfect for a family on a stop over in NZ”

Our family stayed here twice in the last month. It was perfect for our family of six during an required stopover in Auckland on our trip to/from Fiji. The "room" was a two bedroom efficiency apartment that was VERY close to the airport. And with the free shuttle that arrived within minutes of calling the motel it worked out great. I do feel the rooms are a little musty. The first time we stayed it was perfect. The second time it was as if the carpets were cleaned but not sufficiently dried. The staff is super nice and the food in the restaurant, while not cheap, is very very good. The portions are HUGE. I would even consider staying a longer time if needed because the rooms are great for a family of our size (space for 6 is not easy to find). We did take a cab in to the city to walk around while waiting for our next flight and the staff was happy to call and arrange for us. It was about $40 (NZ) for a mini van to get us into the city. If you have time to kill they have an enitre rack of pamphlets with things to do.

Had a lovely stay here with our family of 5 for 3 nights. Although older style units, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, we had a 2 bedroom upstairs/downstairs unit, plenty of room for us all. Staff we helpful and available at all times. The swimming pool was well utilized by us as well. Had a dinner in the restaurant, loved it!! Overall we definitely got our value for what we paid, thanks to Expedia. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Auckland.

“Excellent for a night near the airport”

Free transfer arrived quickly and took us to the hotel. About 5 km. Check in quick and friendly. Rooms adequate for a night. Would not wish to stay longer as room was small and walls were thin. Breakfast was simple and adequate.
