Room was just as I expected . Best location close to uni. Best of kitchen amenities including dishwasher! Bathroom spacious and clean. And best of all, a washer and drier included!

Very nice facility... but...

Posted Apr 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
The facilities are very nice. You will be pleased by the quality and cleanliness of the room. HOWEVER, here are a few things to consider that are not visible at first. 1. Surrounding roads are impossible to turn onto and from during busy times (i.e. all day hours) making them effectively one way streets. This causes long detours, many U turns and delays to get to most all places nearby. 2. windows face sun all day. 32 degrees plus in hotel room on a typical 22 degree day. A/C is in kitchen only and has no effect on overall apartment. Must open windows to survive heat. Insects immediately come in as there are no screens at all. 3. Nearest street is main truck route from motorway to shipyard for deliveries. Trucks driving by 7x24 and very loud - remember you must keep windows open due to heat. Result: very nice apartment is hot, very loud and filled with biting insects.

Nice clean hotel between downtown and Parnell

Posted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: Nice clean big rooms with full fridge and decent kitchen, and separate bedroom.
Cons: The bed was ok in terms of comfort, but not the best quality.
Location: 15 minute walk to Queen St/waterfront bars and restaurants. Handy to the freeway and downtown.
Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful but not 24/7. Make sure you call ahead to ensure staff is there to let you in when you arrive. No restaurant in the hotel, but 2 restaurants just outside the front door, and a gas station with a "Fix" convenient store on the corner.

Came up for the tennis. Absolutely first class. So handy to the tennis centre. Love the ay we can leave the car parked securely. Have done it before and will do it again.
