“Rydges Auckland - best hotel breakfasts”

Booked for quality of internet reviews and central location. Very comfortable suite with harbourview, but also slightly overlooked by apartment block. Spacious and very comfortable room, good complementary toiletries and refreshments. Best hotel breakfast, very freshly cooked, well presented and extensive selection. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Would recommend for a central Auckland stay as 5 minutes to SkyTower, waterfront, Queen Street and only a bit further to other attractions, however, also a quiet location. Will stay again if return to Auckland.

A fantasic choice for a leisure break as the hotel is located a walking distance from all key attractions. The tower is a 30 second walk from the lobby, the main street for shopping is a 2 minute walk and for a nice stretch of the legs the harbour is a 15-20 minute walk. The hotel service is excellent and I found they couldnt do enough to make my stay one to remember!!

We were very tired on arrival and staff were very helpful to make sure we got to our room quickly. The staff were great at giving advice on things to do in Auckland, and how to get around, etc.

my wife and I both agree that we found the hotel first class. our first contact being at reception, arriving early,they took our luggage and suggested that we check back in about an hour. we did so and were able to access our room. about 2 hours prior to normall check.in time. greatly appreciated. within an hour we had a knock on the door.... a member of staff checking that everyithing was o/k with our room. which it was. from our exprience...first class. we have already recommended Rydges to others.

I walked into this room & said wow. Its what you expect to see from the Name Rydges. As i checked in midweek i used the Valet parking which was great but noticed on the weekend it was full & new guests only had the option of self park next door. I was in one of the older rooms but if this was meant to be the old tower, the new rooms should be even more wow. I opened the curtains to see Sky tower outside. Nice touch. The staff were always greeting & looked very profesional. The bed was no wow factor but comfortable enough. Very happy with my stay here.

Other than a problem I had with the concierge team, the hotel itself was FANTASTIC! They kindly let me check in very early as I had just arrived off a 13-hour flight. Beautiful room! High quality products in room with a comfy bed and cool modern bathroom. Outstanding value through Expedia. Substantially better than the Crowne and Mercure hotels in Auckland.

a very pleasing stay motel room nice with everything we needed comfortable bed , shower nice , staff very friendly ,helpful and easy parking just to the side of motel .

Fantastic in all senses, except from the almighty hill to climb up to get to it, particularly if like me you are carrying your 20-30 Kg luggage with you.

The hotel was right in the middle of downtown! Not absolute luxury, but very comfortable. Would stay here again.
