Good base for AucklandPosted Dec 31, 2014
Pros: Location, having kitchenette and table with chairs
Cons: Some additional utensils for kitchen ( already advised to hotel in their customer feedback request form)
Location: Easy stroll to Albert Park, Queen Street, Sky Tower and waterfront. We also walked to the Domain and The Auckland Museum which was well worth visit.
Stayed here for 3 nights on arrival from UK. Reception staff were pleasant and very helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and well located for walking to all the main attractions in the city. The kitchenette was good and enabled us to self cater using nearby supermarkets. The only shortcoming for us was the limited utensils provided in the kitchen which restricted what we could cook which was a shame. If you just want to warm things in microwave, make sandwiches or bring in takeaway then this would be perfect set up. If you want to cook food or prepare salads etc then you might need to bring additional equipment with you.

Getting run down and overpricedPosted Dec 19, 2014
Nice enough hotel, but has become quite run down, not really clean enough and it is overpriced for what you're getting. Valet is the only parking option (at $35 a night); rooms had no book with room service and check out times etc. beds were hard, dishes were dirty, just not what it used to be unfortunately, won't be staying again.

OK if u don't expect too muchPosted Dec 16, 2014
Quite good location esp for the art gallery but up the hill from britomart and not really 'in town' The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and professional Rooms were disappointing, very small and not what I expected for the price

Short Stay in CBDPosted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Great views over the balcony + proximity.
Cons: Bathrooms need hand towls. Only flannels and bath towels were provided.
Great location to everything CBD related.. Short walk to everything 'downtown'. Staff were friendly and professional; handled our queries promptly and made our stay easy.
