Too loud

Posted Feb 8, 2015
The bars and restaurants around are very loud during the night. The Queenbed is too small for a couple.

Location great

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Free wifi
Location: Central to the city and harbour
Room was very small but had everything we needed, very clean and the staff were very friendly. There is no wifi unless you pay $5 for 15 minutes which I think is ridiculous however you can go into the restaurants around the harbour and get free wifi. Car parking is $30 a night also. Overall a nice apartment but it just lacked something

Downtown Auckland hotel gem

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Professionalism of all the staff from front desk to the lady who cleaned our room. Nothing seemed to be a problem.
Cons: The free half hour WiFi in the lobby area could be extended to one hour for casual users before paying for unwanted extended usage.
Location: Located in the Viaduct precinct with lots of restaurants, the Marine museum and the hub of the Auckland yachting fraternity. Plenty to see and do.
The whole experience of our three day stay was highly satisfactory. The staff are helpful, the hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms well equipped and good value. Hard to fault the entire operation. Plenty of local eateries plus a very handy Mini Mart to top up supplies.

Pros: The central location near the harbour. Very quiet and true balck-out Full equipment : cooking table / washing machine dryer inside the room
Cons: No free Wifi ! Only 30 min / day in the lobby seriously ?
Location: Perfect location in the harbour corner, near plenty of restaurant, bar pub and club
Very late night check-in, but very good welcoming and a courtesy free late check out

Pros: Staff were very friendly and professional. Bed and bathroom were very clean
Cons: The apartment was old and dated, couch and carpet shabby.
Location: New Zealand
Value: Exorbitant; I expected elegance for that price. At least much fancier, spiffier digs than that.

Excellent location very disappointing facility

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: The location
I believe that an establishment that calls itself "Suites" and charges more than proportionately, should offer its customers adequate service. For example = the window did not close properly, due to poor maintenance, letting noise and cold air in. Internet wifi only for a supplement (it is free in most of cheap motels in New Zealand). Check out strictly at 12.00, like any "non-suites" facility

A great place for an Auckland weekend.

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: The location and the price make this hotel extremely appealing.
Cons: We were very happy with the hotel and see no area requiring improvement.
Location: You can literally walk to everything downtown Auckland has to offer. A wander around the harbour is a must!
We had a stop-over here on our way from Rarotonga to Australia and chose the hotel because we liked the central location. There are airport shuttles that will drop you at the door, and the hotel is centrally located and close to ferries and the bay. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and with good amenities, and the staff are incredibly helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
