Great place

Pros: Very friendly and hard working people
Location: Close to all of aucklands main attractions and only ten from airport
Stayed here for Eagles concert was great made to feel welcome staff very friendly, even provided us with cheaper transport in vans to and from venue.

Close to airport

Pros: Easy to get back to from Mt Smart
Cons: More comfortable beds and bigger towels.
Location: Close to airport so best suited for travellers needing to get to airport easily.
Served needs well - clean and tidy and was handy to Mt Smart and a breeze to get back to after the concert. Hotels find it difficult to get beds right for everyone but this bed was very hard. No airconditioning but windows were able to be opened and it was not too hot to sleep in despite the gorgeous day. Should invest in bigger towels - these didn't go around us - closer to the size of a hand towel!

There was no air conditioning in the rooms. We slept with the windows open and we were right above the lobby so we heard the airport shuttle all night long.

Good hotel close to airport

We stayed here on our arrival and departure from New Zealand on both occasions we had a spacious ,clean ,comfortable room and were able to get a good meal in the restaurant which was a bonus .breakfasts were good ,nov complaints.

Hotel provides free internet access, airport pick up (free) and drop off to the airport fot very affordable price, free breakfast. Convenient location close to the airport, free parking - all that the traveller needs for short stay on departure or to catch a connecting flight.

Looked good on the website

Difficult to find between the road works (from a non local perspective) didn't quite look like the pictures showed.. the hairdryer and a light didn't work. The draws were missing on the side cabinets, the floor finishing in the bathroom weren't covered and both myself and my partner tripped and stubbed toes. The bed was comfortable :) , the TV had 8 channels for "digital TV with sky" the shuttles were parked right under the room we were in and some inconsiderate people liked the idea of slamming the doors at 3 am. Other than that, fine :) would have complained about all these things in person but it had been a full on day and we just wanted to sleep and get home.

Incompetent

On arrival they insisted that they charge me again even though I presented the confirmation of the booking showing that I had paid $160. She charged me $132.00. The next morning they also were going to charge me for the free continental breakfast. I also queried the difference in price & she told me that was your commission. Later I realised that it was $10 a head for the breakfast. Not good for your website if they are telling us that commission on a room is $28 & cheaper to book direct with them. There was obviously miscommunication between the hotel and you. The girl insisted on arguing with me. Only stopped when I told her to read the confirmation clearly. Will be interested in your comments regarding our experience.

Room so untidy.

The room is so untidy, carpet was not vacuum. Toilet not properly clean. Staff are snobbish and not helpful. I've been into many hotels even in asian countries but this is the woarse hotel so far.
