Very surprised and pleased with this room. I will be searching for Baymont Inns now wherever I go. Rooms were GREAT, and the price was a lot less than what you usually get for this type of room. Beds were awesome!

Great Value! Great Place!Posted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and had a full size refrigerator, microwave, sink with counter and cabinets. The bathroom was very nice and towels were soft. The bed was very comfortable! The only complaint was the room smelled a little funny, after turning on the air-conditioning it wasn't so bad. I heard the same complaint from colleagues staying at other hotels though so I think it might just be the humidity in Augusta. I enjoyed the pool while there and noticed it had quite a lot of outdoor seating and even a pretty nice grill if anyone wanted to have a barbecue. The hotel ran parallel to the main drag (Washington Drive) which had a very large variety of restaurants. The hotel served a decent breakfast, usual waffle maker, coffee, bagels, eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, .... it was good and nice being able to grab it quickly and head off to my conference. There was also a small business area and wifi throughout the hotel and in the rooms. Friends staying at other hotels paid more for less. I paid less for more. I would definitely recommend this to anyone on a trip to or through Augusta.

My husband wound up in the hospital on the second night of a 5 night visit. The staff were wonderful in accommodating me. I was there for 2 add'l nights (at the same discounted rates!). Everyone was wonderful! My only complaint was that I couldn't get a cup of coffee after 9 AM except in my room (& that coffee was AWFUL).

Great place for the pricePosted Jun 21, 2013
Pros: clean room, free breakfast
Cons: The gym
Location: Great sushi restaurant on washington rd
This hotel was a great place to stay for my business trip. The only con was the gym, it definitely could use an upgrade. Loved the staff, clean room, good breakfast (bread was fresh), printer for the business center worked, and I drank up some of the complimentary 24 hour coffee while working. However, don't plan to stay here if you wish use the gym to stay fit during your stay.
