“Good time”

The overall appearance of the hotel was great. We took our granddaughter to see an event at the Civic Center in Augusta. The only problem we had was a pillow on the bed. The pillowcase had blood on it. They immediately changed out the pillow. I would use them again.

“overall pleasant experience”

The a/c unit had evidentally cause the carpet to become wet and when we arrived the unit was off and the windows were open. Consequently, the room was warm to hot on this late July day in Augusta. However, the unit worked well and cooled the room off quickly and of coure we closed the window. Later that nite we found that the carpet was wet in the area near the a/c unit so we concluded that the unit was off and the window was open in order to allow the carpet to dry after the last tenants checked out. I increased the temp setting and told the desk clerk about the problem the following day. We note that they had placed an oscillating fan on the floor near the unit after ckeaning the room on the following day. That took care of the problem. The other thing that concerned me was the security or electronic door locks did not work. There was free access to entering the motel at all times. The pass key was not needed to gain entrance. That was a little disconcerting because people could enter from side doors unimpeded. Otherwise everything was nice and the new pulsating shower heads made the showers envigorationg.

We enjoyed our stay. Very nice place. I'd stay there again.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was friendly. Great breakfast, great hotel, great value!

Very friendly staff...I left a dress and realized it the next day..the lady was so nice and made sure I got my dress back...I'd definitely stay again if ever in this area again. Very convienient to everything you need.

This is a great hotel and is reasonably priced. If we are ever back in Augusta we will definately stay there.

“Good for the price, Staff was excellent. Pool not available.”

This hotel was clean, breakfast setup was nice. Staff was very courteous and helpful. However, we wanted to take a dip in the pool on a hot June day and discovered it was not available for use ("awaiting inspection"). For that reason we weren't pleased. Pool is probably the smallest I've ever seen at a hotel, but call ahead to see if pool is open.

“I always stay here when I visit Augusta”

This Best Western is just a lil difficult to find with three to four other hotels surrounding it. Parking is limited but you can usually find a spot. Cute girls work the front desk during the day. My room was clean and appropriately appointed and my bed was comfortable. Honestly, you cannot beat this hotel for the money anywhere in Augusta. I stay here whenever I visit Augusta, you just can't beat it.

“Fair enough”

The hotel was fine for the rate. The desk clerks I encountered were both friendly and helpful. The room was clean. I received my wake-up call on time. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, but walking isn't much of an option. The restaurants are on a busy city street which isn't equipped with sidewalks. There are crosswalks, but the local populace does not give any right of way to pedestrians. Be careful.
