Not a great experience

Pros: It was a place to sleep
Cons: More staff for major weekend and get a chair or two in the room.
Sunday night stay on Masters weekend and only one person to check in guests and answer the phone. We got to the room and the lock bar inside the door was across in locked position and we couldn't get in. Had to go back to desk and wait again. Couldn't change room because they were full so had to call maintenance. OK - so things happen. But strange room! No chairs to sit anywhere. And it was a big enough room to allow for chairs. And then to add to all this, you had to hold down ON button on hair dryer on console to use it. Stayed at Hampton Inn previous two nights and much better.

having arrived at the motel after driving 15 hrs, all i wanted to do was get some sleep. i lterally crashed on the bed without taking a look at the room, even though my wife said it appeared to be very dirty i fell asleep.when i awoke in the morning i saw my wife was on the bed fully clothed. she said she was afraid to take her clothes off befor trying to get to sleep. it was then that i had a good look at the room. the light over the bed arced when turned on, there was no table or chair in the room, the carpeting hadn't been vacumed, the bathroom was not only dirty the commode seat was broken, there was a large hole behind the commode. there was hair from he previous occupant stuck to the wall of the shower and the tub filthy. needless to say we chose not to use the coupons for the free breakfast. having been an EXPEDIA client for many years this was the first time i've truly been dissapointed in the services or options they offer. i am amazed that EXPEDIA would have an offering like this on their website.

Pros: Cost, freebies, amenities.
Cons: Improve cable reception. Add some type of air deflector to air conditioner.
Location: Many eateries, including fast food and nice restaurants, locate in immediate area. Convenient to interstate 20.
Conveniently located and for the price, I would recommend this hotel and intend to return to it for future visits to the area. Include in the room cost were two breakfast buffet tickets as well as two tickets for 2-drink social hour coctails. The staff all were pleasant and most helpful in providing for our needs including a no-cost upgrade due to my health problems. The bed and pillows were probably the nicest of any room I've stayed in the past several years. The room appeared to be freshly painted. The only "gripes" were that the cable tv was very unclear at most times and that the room air conditioner was situated next to the sofa (blowing constantly on the side of the head with no ability to adjust short of turning off). These were minor complaints considering the cost and the amenities. I do highly recommend this facility.

Pros: The hotel staff was very nice.
Location: Washington Road is a prime location because everything you could possibly want is there but this hotel is no competition for the other amazing hotels.
First of all I must say that eh staff in this place is pretty amazing and it is a shame that they have to work at such a place. We were in town for a bowling tournament this weekend and we made reservations to stay at the Clarion. We got to our room and tried to turn on the lights at the door but it didn't work I tried to use the phone to call the front desk but it was dead. We tried to use the other phone in the other room and it was dead as well. I went in to use the bathroom and almost fell several times because the floor was oily. There were 2 tv's in the room but only 1 remote worked. We then were slightly irritated and so we went to talk to the front desk to see what could be done. They called maintenance up to our room to see what he could correct. While he was working we decided to go to the ice machine. Upon reaching the door to the entrance on the vending machine room we were greeted with animal feces and as we entered the room there was even more huge clunks of animal feces! TOTALLY DISGUSTING AND UNACCEPTABLE!! Yes I took pictures so that they could see that I wasn't lying. By this time I am fuming and am really not wanting to hear anything they have to say. We were offered another room and although we were scheduled to stay for 3 nights we checked out the next day and moved down the street to a better hotel with the proper accommodations.

Had to get my own towels rude staff bad service but thy do give u2 free drinks small vending and out of date but tha lobby will fool u put more for your guest tha wifi wuz broken to

Pros: The breakfast was ok.
Cons: Take better care of the room & the linen.
Location: Don't remember because I checked in late and checked out early the next day.
The door to the room was extremely hard to open. The pillows smelled awful. One of the walls in the bathroom had cracks in it. We will never go back there.

Never Again

Pros: Nothing
Location: Location was perfect
Pool was closed, had to change rooms three times. First room had a roach on the phone, second room had no hot water, third room was bigger and better but still didn't feel clean. The room had a lot of mositure and I felt muggy even with the AC on.

Not Good At All

The hotel location was great. The hotel itself is old and needs updated. The door to my room had been kicked in previously and the bolt lock was broke. The bed spreads had stains on them. Breakfast was fine. But hotel overpriced for the Master's golf tournament.
