DIRTY, WOULD SLEEP IN MY CAR FIRSTPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Clerk had no problem refunding my credit card
Cons: Where do I start?
Location: great location, too bad I couldn't stay there. There were no available rooms to check out. Went elsewhere
Refused to stay, room was dirty, when I entered room with my daughter I placed the room key on the dresser in front of t.v. Immediately noticed large stain on bed linen, turned down to inspect sheets and it was all pilled. Old linens , not a nice feeling against skin. Carpets were dirty, decided to go to front desk to refuse room, when I tried to retrieve the room key from where I placed it, I had to pry it from the surface.IT WAS STUCK.

Older hotels showing its agePosted Sep 2, 2013
Cons: Upgrades espicially in the bathroom area.
Location: Close to interstate for quick stop over to get brake from driving.
Hotel is close to interstate which is convenient. However ceiling tiles were badly damaged due to pass water problems. Radiators covers were missing or didn't fit properly. The room was very old looking which needs upgrades. It appeared to be clean even with the outdated finishings.

Ceiling tiles were stained and the carpet was old. Needs a paint job. The staff was helpful and courteous.

Pros: out. There were only two sets of outlets to use and they were so worn out it was hard to keep my cell phone plugged in. There was nothing we liked
Cons: Looks to me like the hotel needs a serious renovation big time...
I stayed at the econo lodge on kennedy memorial drive in waterville maine. on 08/24/13 room number 246. I didnt keep my confermation number because I didnt think I would have to use it again. I didnt go to the front desk because there were so many things that was bad which I will list that I was so mad to pay xxxx for one night in a room like that. I have been in the military for 23 yrs and stayed in a lot of hotels and NEVER stayed in one so bad! First I went to put my key in the door the green light kept coming on saying it was ok to open the door, it wouldnt open, I tried and tried still could not open the door. I housekeeping lady happen to be walking by and had to take your foot and push the bottom of the door to open it every time or it wouldnt open. The room had two full side beds in it with white bedspreads and both had really bad stains on them, cant get over them using those stained bedspreads looked so dirty.... The only sink to use on the vanity was so plugged up it took 20 minute to drain, the dirty water just stayed in there couldnt really use it! The refridgerator was unplugged, not cold and when we opened the door to look inside it was so dirty no one would put anything in there so we couldnt use that! Also there was this big tv stand in the room with a tv so small like 15 inches, you could tell a tv went bad and they just stuck that tiny tv in there after, too small to enjoy. Also there was lights over the vanity with big round bulbs and lights were bur

This is obviously an older motel that has been fixed up. The beds were comfortable and clean. There were places in the bathroom that needed fixing up (tile in ceiling and rusty baseboard heater.) The breakfast was very adequate, however, the cleanliness of the breakfast area wasn't so good. Someone needs to notice how sticky everything is and clean it up.The person at the front desk was very pleasant and seeme to really know what she was doing.
