“Holiday Inn, Gordon Hwy, Augusta, GA”
Supposed to be a non-smoking room, but smelled of smoke and there were cigarette burns in drapes, desk, and vanity. King size bed bowed in the middle and was very uncomfortable. TV reception was very bad and fuzzy. The one outstanding feature was the complimentary breakfast, it was wonderful, also the staff was very nice. The hotel was quiet, and not too bad; I feel that the price is definitely too high for what is being offered
“Don't Stay Here - Not a great part of town”
Check in at the desk was fine... Got to our room, turned on the a/c and about five minutes later the room filled with a burning smell.... The a/c was burning up... They moved our room and tried to charge 20.00 for ????
“Back to the 70s”
The room is just like stepping back in time to hotel rooms in the 70s. Analoge TV with big tube. Minimum channels available. Small bathroom and not extras for the sink. Plastic cups not glass. The breakfast was good however and it opened at 6 am vs 6:30 am which is convient. I will not stay her again as it was uncomfortable/ I arrived at 9 pm from my flight from WDC yet the resturant was closed and nothing close to go to. Felt isolated at night
“Terrible”
Bug walked across bed in room. Walked into the breakfast at 9:58 and we were refused service because they closed at 10 AM. Even though we paid extra for breakfast. Extraordinarily rude waitresses in the breakfast area. Terrible area of town-no close restaurants. Avoid.
