“AWESOME FRONT DESK STAFF”

The staff is VERY friendly and helpful and acts in a timely manner to any requests! They are VERY professional. We LOVED our stay at Wingate. The rooms were very clean! My one and only complaint is that the garbage cans in the am are very full quick, they just need another garbage can in the breakfast area. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

“Wingate by Wyndham near Fort Gordon”

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Each evening they have food and drinks and the breakfast each morning is very good. Fresh fruit, eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. It was quiet and I had no trouble sleeping or heard any load noises. The pool area/hot tub was out and not working, which was the only negative. The gym area is small, but has good gear and was never crowded.

“I will most likely go back.”

The only negative i had was waiting on my room to be ready. We arrived early and was told it would be ready in a hour. We came back 2 hours later only to be told that they were working on it now. It would only be 10 to 15 minutes. We went shopping and returned 1 hour later only to be told they were still cleaning our room. We finally just sat in the lobby for another 15 minutes and then was let into our room. Everyone was nice and the Hotel was nice, but it we waited till after 5 and had dinner reservations at 6. It made it a little rushed.

“Little hotel off Gordon highway”

Wingate Gordon highway has nice rooms, a whirlpool and an exercise room. Internet speed worked fine and they had a comp breakfast in the morning. Conveniently located off Bobby Jones highway exit 3A on Rte 10-Rte 78.....

“Good location and great for the price”

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel for the price we paid! It was very close to base which was a huge plus for us. My only complaint is that judging by the photos it looked like the hotel had a pool which it did not. It would have been very nice considering it was around 100 that weekend. Overall great stay though.

“A great experience”

This is a wonderful hotel. The fitness center and whirlpool are great. The free breakfast is great and includes, fersh fruit, eggs sausage, toast waffles, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc., etc. The staff is friendly. The room is very nice. I had a king room no smoking which included a large open area with a lounge chair and desk with high speed internet. All the details in the room were perfect. This is a very nice place to stay.

“Very comfortable”

The hotel was clean, cheerful and close to Fort Gordon...the breakfasts were very good...it was very quiet, the staff was very helpful..it was an overall excellent stay and I would gladly stay there again.

“Comfortable, Safe, Quiet, Friendly Staff”

Nice, quiet stay. Checked in very late, around 2 a.m.. Unfortunately, bathroom light didn't work and they couldn't fix it right then. They did offer another room but I didn't want to move to second floor. Also, there was a very long and large water stain on the ceiling. The beds were very nice and loaded with nice warm comforter and blankets and slept well. The next morning I reminded the front desk that bathroom light wasn't working. We came back around 3:30p.m for a power nap and found the light had still not been fixed. I told the front desk that I needed either the light fixed immediately or another room. They sent someone within 15 minutes to fix the light. They serve a pretty good breakfast buffet; Scrambled eggs, sausage gravy biscuit, packaged bagels, packaged muffins, sausage links or patties, cereal, orange juice, milk, pancakes, and more.

“Jan 2012 visit”

Got there late so did not use facilities just went to the room. Great friendly staff, Room was clean, believe this is a fairly new hotel, good shampoo n soap n towels, Breakfast was good. Grout in bathroom tile was missing, paint splatter around the bathroom door-building maintenance could be better. Check out was easy.

“Good for what we needed”

We stayed here while visiting my husband at Ft. Gordon in April. The rooms were clean and being remodeled. The housekeeping staff was very polite, as was the manager Erika. The breakfast was the best I've had for a continental - hot waffles, grits, eggs and sausage, cereal, fruit and all kinds of beverages. My only complaints were they didn't have cribs so we had to buy one, and that the walls are paper thin. Out of the 6 nights we stayed, 2 I had to call the front desk around midnight to talk to them about the noise. It was both beside us and upstairs. And our bathroom sink was broken so the water never drained properly. They were quick to take care of the noise, and very nice about helping us to stay in the same room 2 extra days when my daughter became ill. We are headed back, and are staying at the Holiday Inn instead - the only reason is because Wingate doesn't have a pool (and we're going to need one) and the noise. But I would recommend it to stay at short term.
