Great place to unwind and rest

Posted Jun 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great place for quiet time. Marriage retreat, family quality time or write a book. A little bit hard to find but hotel personnel super courteous, friendly and very helpful. There are a couple of restaurants, a supermarket, the room has cookware and the scenery is breathtaking, Extremely Beautiful.

Perfect recovery location after big city overload

Posted Sep 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
If you'want to experience real Italian countryside and need to unwind after sightseeing in all the top cities with some peace and quiet, you need to stay at Lunezia for a couple of nights. A 360 degree view of the Tuscan countryside is what surrounds you. The pool is perfectly maintained. An important note: Lunezia Resort is located in the hinterlands. A rental car is highly recommended if you want the freedom you will need to go to dinner, groceries, sightseeing, etc. Don't rely on taxis. Thanks for the great time, Lunezia. We'll be back in a year or two.

a gem

It is off the beaten path but was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. The service was top notch...much better than a recent stay at a 5 star property.

mountain beauty, great for quiet and hikers

wonderfully quiet and away from it all. service was superb. only issue: directions to hotel. gps did not work for address and signage was sparse. special thanks to locals for help. hotel is far from city - hotel had reasonably priced 'mini mart' which was perfect for a lite dinner and breakfast.

very nice hotel but only if you really want to be away from everything. from the small town of Aulla have to take a narrow, windy off road to reach the hotel(about 4 km) kind of scary specially at night. rooms are great and big. I think great for families. everybody says close to cinque terre: 1-2hr by train (you have to change 2 trains) or 1/2hr by car. very isolated, specially that the manager (very nice guy) leaves at 9:00pm. nice kitchen area and clean rooms. good hotel and very reasonable price only know that is it very isolated and great if you want to be away from everything :)

Fantacstic location, but hard to find!

Posted Oct 7, 2010 on Hotels.com
This is a really nice hotel located in fantastic scenery! It literally is in the middle of no-where and can be hard to find, especially at night. You need to drive on some small windy roads to reach it and, as we did, if you arrive at night the signs can be hard to see. However, once you get there the staff are friendly, the rooms clean and air-conditioned and the views amazing! A nice pool too.

Lunezia Resort

Posted Aug 29, 2010 on Hotels.com
The resort was hard to find. However, it was exactly, what we were looking for, it is in a quiet location, cows and sheep across the valley, wine all around, a little town on a hillside above. The resort is pretty new and therefore in excellent condition. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is lots of parking available. The studio had all we needed: Kitchen, bathroom, bed and sleeper sofa, table and chairs, TV, clothes drying rack, outside table and chairs. Our kids loved the swimming pool. There are grills available and laundry facilities. Lunezia Resort is in a good central location for visiting Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Genua, the Ligurian coast, Cinque Terra.
