“I found a perfect place to stay!”

Its not like the Ritz or anything but the beds were pretty comfy, I don't watch a lot of T.V on trips so even the small T.V doesn't bother me, it was great because I need a cheap place to stay one night and the price was right, even if I'm going to stay all weekend I'm going to stay there, easy to get to, and close to 6th st.

The staff here was absolutely amazing. They helped me with everything I needed including food, taxis, and directions. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was great. The best part was I got all this for a really great price. I will never stay anywhere else in Austin.

“Very happy with our stay”

We spent a week in Austin at this hotel and found it very conveniently located. The price was right, the staff was courteous, helpful and prompt, the clean room was furnished with a refrig. and microwave, we enjoyed the free big breakfast every morning (Where but in Texas do you get make-you-own Texas shaped waffles?). I'd definitely stay in the hotel again.

“Perfect for a place to sleep when you want to see Austin”

The hotel was clean and the service was great. Having free wireless along with a free hot breakfast was a great value. The fitness room was a joke but overall, if you are looking for a clean place to stay while you are in town, this place is great. What a deal.

“Cheap, clean, decent breakfast, wireless free, weight room, pool”

I stayed in room 106. It had a coffeemaker (thermal carafe to reduce burning) and hairdryer. The doorknob on the bathroom had no lock, but I knew who I was with and trusted them. ;-) Breakfast included raisin bran, danishes, scrambled eggs and sausage patties on biscuits, and make your own waffles in the shape of Texas. The pool was closed at it was January. I didn't use the weight room. It's on the I-35 frontage road and there are a couple restaurants, a post office, and a gas station within walking distance. I plan to stay there again.

“Austin best Value Hotel”

We have stayed in several hotels in Austin and this was the best value for our money. It was clean and the breakfast was very good. We are planning another trip for October and booked the same hotel.

I went to this hotel very warily after having read the previous reviews, but found myself pleasantly surprised and pleased with this hotel! It is definitely an older bldg and nothing fancy, but my room was clean and well kept, bathroom was clean and new, hotel was quiet, there was free hot breakfast every morning and free wi-fi, and the staff was very helpful and courteous. It's close to most things one would want to visit in Austin, including UT. Great deal overall. I would stay at this hotel again.

“Pretty good place, will definitely stay here again!”

I'll agree that it's an older place, but the staff was so helpful--even loaned me a highlighter, which of course I returned when finished. The breakfast was great, too--Texas-shaped waffles, anyone? It was perfect for my overnight trip
