blakePosted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: clean and quiet
Cons: maybe breakfast, more selections.
When we got to the room the light over the sink did not work. I went to the front desk to report it and the attendant went right to the room and fixed the problem.

Nice Hotel in front of outlet centerPosted Jun 12, 2014
Location: Wine Store, Whataburger, Tanger Outlet, all within walking distance.
Hotel is conveniently located in front of the outlet center. I was there to visit a customer in new braunfels and got there the afternoon before. You can go shopping or visit the cities of san Marcos and New Braunfels. Restaurant nearby.

Very old and dirtyPosted Jun 8, 2014
The hotel is near Tanger Outlets, what males its location very convenient. But us old, the AC made the carpet wet, the lights did not work, drawers were broken. Really needs maintenance. Do not want to return

Closest to the outlets, quality is not what it wasPosted May 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was disappointed to see that this place has declined a little. I chose this hotel because it was a cheaper option - but still not what I'd call cheap - the newish Embassy Suites 1/2 mile away was only a little more for the same date. Staff were pleasant , the pool, had generous hours but gave the overall impression of being dirty, there were dark areas all over the pool deck -not sure if this was dirt or something else, the lounging chairs at the pool were visibly splattered with dirt. The room was a basic room, not the best mattresses, not the worst. Shower did not go on full because the little tab that you pull up did not allow for all water to go through shower, so a lot went through the tub faucet. Breakfast - if we'd gotten there earlier probably would've been better. We got there with about 15 minutes left, - there were 4 pastries, 6 waffles thawed - I thought they were supposed to be frozen until use? and cold cereal. One of the biggest issues I had was that the outside lock on the side door apparently did not work, and so was secured open with tape until about 11 pm. This presents somewhat of a hazard in my mind. I really wanted to like this place, I did on previous visits, and hope that it will address a few of these issues and be as great as it used to be.

A place to sleepPosted May 18, 2014
Upon checkin no towels in room. Front desk handed me some to take up to my room. Refrigerator didnt cool very well and stopped working altogether. That said, the room was clean, hotel was quiet, and the beds comfortable. It was an okay place to stay for the price.
