Staff not familiar with Expedia registrations.

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Nearness to job site
Cons: Staff should be trained on how to find Expedia reservations and public relations on making clientele feel welcome.
My husband and son had been working from 5 am and I made a registration for them through Expedia around 11pm that evening. When they arrived at the hotel the desk person was not very nice and said she had never heard of the name I had registered it under. When my son gave her the confirmation code, she took another 30 minutes trying to figure out what was what. Keep in mind, I had sent a copy of the receipt to my son's phone and there were only 2 cars in the parking lot, so the hotel was not busy that night. When she finally got everything figured out and gave them their room number, she told them that registration was made the night before so they had to be out of the room by 11. It was almost 2 am. My guys had been working 18 plus hours straight and did not need this hassle.

Nice hotel and easy to reach.

Pros: clean
Cons: Add hot tub to the pool area
Expedia did a great job finding us this hotel. We were there to see our Great niece graduate from High School. The hotel was close to our relatives and the graduation. This is our second stay at this hotel and it was comfortable and nice.

This is an older model. The room was a little musty, but that's not surprising. I was pleasantly surprised at the breakfast - it was good. I had mentally thought that I'd have to search out a Starbucks, but this wasn't necessary. The 2 members of staff I saw were organized & properly trained.

It was okay...really expected more of a newer, fresher ambience for what we paid for the room. The breakfast area is very small so we opted to walk to a nearby restaurant and pay for our breakfast rather than wait for one of the three tables to free up. The quality of service was fine, the people working there are friendly. The price for this hotel should have been half of what they were asking, but I guess since it is considered "Cedar Park", you are paying for the name.

Affordable and Consistent

Posted Feb 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Best Western Cedar Inn has been our choice for overnight stays for 10 years now. We discovered this hotel 10 years ago when preparing to move to this area. We were impressed with the cleanliness, service and affordability our first visit. Since then, Cedar Park Inn has been our go to choice for out of town guests and overnight getaways. Recently, The Cedar Park Inn has renovated and updated their guest rooms. The hotel appears to be family owned and works very hard to be consistent in their service. Since our arrival to the area 10 years ago newer hotels have opened. Despite the fact that The Cedar Park Inn is much older, we will continue to use and recommend it to others because it simply is more affordable, clean and offers quality service.

Terrible

Posted Feb 13, 2014
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: Customer service
Avoid, there are loads of other hotels nearby. As soon as we arrived and tried to check in, one member of the night staff (Mervinia?) was incredibly rude and unhelpful, shouting at us and telling us she would not discuss cancelling a night with us, although we had called ahead and told them that we wished to cancel the last night of our stay as our plans had changed. We were told on the phone that this was fine and to do it when we checked in. We have never been treated like that before and in fact, this individual was the only person we met on our 5 week trip who was rude. In addition to this, we were on the lower level, outside the pool, the pool light was too bright and shone through the window of our room and it was very noisy. The breakfast was adequate. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy and in fact, we will probably not use Best Western again, a decision based solely on our experience at this hotel.
