Hotel close to downtown

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: ok
Overall my stay was OK, hotel staff not friendly as I was expected. Reduced parking lot and trouble to park the car and get out from the hotel car parks lot to get I35.

Great location close to downtown, but not downtown

Posted Jul 2, 2014
This place was a great little getaway place for my hubby and I, and romantic too! It had a very private feel to it. One of the two employees we met was amazing, engaged, and helpful, and the other kinda seemed like he wasn't too thrilled to be there. Overall though, it was awesome! Close to all the downtown attractions, without all the maneuvering of getting in and out of your downtown hotel. Super comfy beds, and until you've experienced the wet room, then you'll never know how steamy it can get! Places close by that deliver great food if you decide to stay in, and of course free breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place to my married friends, or any couple looking for a quick getaway... Or if you really appreciate an amazing shower, and luxurious bathtub combo!

Different....

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Setting is great. The shower and window is different, nice....
Cons: perhaps replacing one of the older tables withing the suite.
Location: Austin is greaaaaaat!
I booked this hotel due to the settings. It was Great. We selected the jr. suite. It was very spacious. Room was very clean and kept. The bathroom was complete, clean, tidy. The shower could use a little more pressure. It's okay it just takes a little longer. Overall, the hotel is great. The pool is a little on the small side. I would still recommend this for a couple without children due to shower/tub setting, a window to the bed. It is definitely exciting. I will book this again!

Austin's best kept secret

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Great value for the price.
If everyone knew about this very special hotel, you would never get a reservation. This was our second visit. We enjoyed both stays very much. The rooms are large, nicely furnished and quiet. The large shower/tub area is unusual. The rainhead shower is beside the soaker tub. There is a big picture window next to the tub that looks into the bedroom. The window can be "closed" by a pull down shade. The balcony suites are nice and the best option when the weather is good. All in all, this is a great place to stay.

Gruene getaway

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Bathroom showers
Cons: There could have been little more attention to detail. There were cleaning rags left on the dresser by the maids.
We've stayed at this hotel before and we love it. Very modern and chic. The suites are the best and the roomiest but we stayed in a king room this time and it was still every thing we needed. I love the bathroom the most, some people may not like the open modern look but i think it is way cool. The free breakfast are the best that i have had anywhere and there is lots of room in the lounge/breakfast area. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. The prices cannot be beat for what you get!!

Not what remembered

Pros: The Bed.
Cons: Overall cleanliness. A fresh paint job on all the walls, new partitions on the bathroom window, a printer in the business center. People who can fax.
Location: Great location. A bit hard to get into, but not bad.
The first time I stayed at Cosulo Hotel it had just opened and was beautiful. This stay was very dissappointing. Although the mattress and bed were awesome, there were spots all over the wall, I wasn't sure if I wanted to sit on the couch and the partition between the bathroom and living are was full of holes. The room seemed clean, but didn't give off a vibe of really clean. This hotel is not set up as a good place for a business traveler. I was there on business and the girl behind the front desk did not know how to scan or fax. Also to print anything you have to email it to the front desk and then they will print it for you. It seems as though they tried to cut corners to try to save money, but these cut corners are inconvenient for travelers.

Hotel was very clean. The staff was very helpful. Walk-in shower was roomy and unique. Nice large room. Free wireless access.
