Mixed BagPosted Apr 18, 2015
Location: Poor and nothing!
While the bed and bath were luxurious, the couch was so stained I was afraid to sit on it. The TV didn't work the first night ( but they fixed it), and the toilet didn't flush right (never fixed). The only thing to do around the hotel was watch traffic on 35.

Excellent valuePosted Apr 18, 2015
Very friendly staff and the room. Very good bed, nice comfy living room chair, free internet, and the bathroom that was really a surprise with a Jacuzzi, marble counters and one of those large round shower heads on the wall and one in the ceiling for that, "I just stepped in a rain naked" feeling. I'd come back again. I just about forgot, they include a nice breakfast; scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, real orange juice, fruit, sweet roll...

Not ideal location if you don't have a car. Rooms are quite nice, especially the bathrooms, but common areas fell a bit tired.

Close to great eats, amazing bathroom!Posted Apr 6, 2015
The bathroom was so nice. I had a fantastic bath and then a equally lovely shower with the rainfall showerhead. The hotel was fairly quiet despite having quite a few guests. The driveway is a bit scary, narrow curve up a hill, but otherwise everything was nice. Breakfast was decent, not bad at all for free!

Nice Rain ShowerPosted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: I like the rain shower, the outdoor jecuzzi, and free breakfast
Cons: There was a small amount of mildew in the bathroom, but could be overlooked with everything else meeting expectations.
Location: Not far from downtown, but avoid I-35 during peak traffic times
My Second time at Casulo and it doesn't disappoint. Staff is always friendly and will get you anything that you need. Bathroom is spacious with a rain shower, and tub.

Best service!Posted Mar 31, 2015
I've been to several hotels and this by far is the best service I've encountered. The front desk clerk was extremely courteous and friendly. It appeared he truly enjoyed being of service to the customers. Deeply impressed with this gentleman.

Average hotel with airs of grandeur, needs refreshPosted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: The room size was nice. The complimentary breakfast was substantial, not just a danish and coffee. Free wifi throughout. Free parking.
Cons: Our room was run down and the bed was not very comfortable, though it appeared to be clean.
Location: The hotel is RIGHT off I-35N. Head north to the City, or head south towards San Marcos and Austin. I-35 traffic is a bear. Be prepared.
The window to the bathroom was pretty odd. It required drawing the shade or the shower curtain to have privacy while using the toilet. There were no extra pillows or plankets in the shaky wardrobe (yes, a wardrobe, no built-in closet in our room on the first floor). The hangers inside didn't match, minor thing I know, but it is expected. We arrived early about 1:15pm, before check-in time of 3pm, as we had driven in from Houston to meet my brother who had flown in the day before from Rhose Island. We thought we'd just see if there was a room ready. The woman at the desk barely lifted her head to greet us, and when we said we had reservations for the night, she said check-in time is at 3pm. No apology, no smile.
