Hotel in need of repairs and better management.

Pros: The room and common areas were clean and the staff was courteous. The price was reasonable.
Cons: Better management. Which would improve maintenance and services.
Location: Traffic is heavy during rush hours, The area in general is not a nice area.
We arrived at hotel. Hotel is location in a undesirable area. The fence in the front of the building was in need of repair. The grounds including the landscape was in need of sprucing up. When they gave us ours keys they informed us the ice machine was out of order. Once we reached our room we discovered the room had not been cleaned. We went back to the desk and told the clerk and was issued another room. The second room was clean but the stand for the TV was damaged on the bottom. I went to the vending machine to get some water. All the selection said sold out. I went to the front desk and asked about the soda machine. Was told that sometimes they don't get a chance to refill the soda machine. As i past the swimming pool I noticed a sign saying the pool was out of order. I went back to the room and called Expedia to see about getting a different hotel. I was put on hold for 24 minutes and hung up. I called Expedia the next day and asked if I could canceled this reservation and get a different hotel. The person called the hotel and canceled. But I was told that the hotel was going to charge me for an additional day because I didn't bring my concerns to their addition. If you look at my concerns they already knew about them. The pool,vending machine,the poor curb appeal, the ice machine and the location.

Unhelpful staff, horrible management, dirty

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Not in a great neighborhood but that is the least of its problems.
Numerous problems - false advertisement - there is not laundry facilities nor is there a gym, both of which were advertised on various websites I looked at which had pictures of this Comfort Inn. The management does not return phone calls; I've left four messages. She is there, but either "on the phone", "just stepped out", etc. Dirty carpets throughout - not just stains, but actual crumbs, dirt, etc. Bathroom ceiling had a tile moved away/separated from the fan and there was slight mold near the shower. The room phone did not work, or rather, worked sporadically. Had to call the front desk and tried to approximately three times in one hour and it just rang and rang. My husband had to physically go to the front desk with our problem and "Jack" could not even answer basic questions regarding the hotel he worked at; he just kept saying he'd email the manager to let her know - yes, the manager who does not return phone calls. One of the worst hotel experiences ever.

Not very nice hotel, run down.

Hotel is in a run down old area, when we got to our room our TV didn't work, the lamps wouldn't turn on, and the lights in the bathroom wouldn't turn off! I found hairs in my shower, the only good thing about the hotel room was the beds were comfy! Very disappointed and will not go back.

Me and my son were in town to see my daughter for four nights. The room was clean and nice. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. The breakfeast was adequate and good. Staff were friendly and processional. I was able to check in early with no issues. They need towels at the pool. No bugs were seen at all. Staff work hard to make your stay comfrontable. There are three restaurants within walking distance, Applebee's, Buffalo wild wings and another sports bar. Taxi service was quick and reasonable. They need more up to date information. On local attractions and let guests know about the computer in lobby for use. Might be my fault but the wi fi was hard to figure out. Overall I enjoyed my time there.

Everything was broken in my room

Room key didn't work, had to go to the front desk 3 times. Ice machine broke, air conditioner was messed up, and the pool was closed. I read on a website check out of was noon, but the books said 11. i think motel 6 would of been a better option. The bathroom by the pool also had a nasty backed up toilet.

Indoor pool is green, pool room has mold

Room fridge barely cooled, bathroom smelled of mold, indoor pool was green and there was mold around the vents and windows, breakfast ended to early for it being spring break week.

Never Again!

Pros: I can't say that we like anything.
Cons: Everything
Location: Near Austin, TX and there are many things to do...we were going to the Texas State Museum (it was great), the capitol is near, everything Austin.
Main lobby was dark and dingy. Hallway was darker and had a fake air freshener scent to cover mustiness. The room had a different smell - neither smell was good. The beds were clean but everything else was dark, old, musty and gave us a very creepy feeling. Pool was warm and in good shape. The hot tub (this is the main reason we chose this hotel) was horrid...not in good "pool" condition, very shallow - you felt that your knees were up under your chin. When we first used the hot tub, it was full and very warm. We went back to the hot tub later that evening and the water level had dropped and it was only lukewarm. It was such an unpleasant experience that we checked out after staying only 1 night (instead of the 2 originally planned).

Hard to access from south I 35

Pros: cleanliness, staff
Location: Not much to do nearby. There was a shooting just a couple of blocks from there while I was there.
The hotel is located in the vicinity of several overpasses, and can be hard to get to after dark and coming from the south. Staff and the room were all great, but it was overpriced for the area.
