Excellent!Posted Mar 6, 2014
The bed was extremely comfortable!! Room was clean. Just one day the room wasn't cleaned until after 4. But it did work with our schedule--so that was fine.

The bed and room was very goodPosted Jan 23, 2014
The hot tub was very nice but the pool was very cold. The place was very nice for the price. The only thing we did not get was a coke in the morning and to some people it's very implorent.

Comfortable and affordable - Comfort Suites SouthPosted Oct 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were very happy with the hotel. Of all the ones in the immediate area, the rates were the lowest here. Room was comfortable. Bed was nice. If we need to stay in the south part of Austin again, we would certainly stay at this hotel. Breakfast was quite good with lots of options.

somewhat disappointingPosted Oct 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Pillows were too small. Card key didn't work, so we had to be let in our room by hotel staff every time.

Needed a suite but got a 2 bed room!Posted Oct 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our 'suite' was a 2 double bed room w/a half wall divider & a short 'sofa bed' that was sold to us as being able to sleep 4 people! It didn't!!! The AC unit did not cool the room. After being in the room for 15 min the AC stopped working. Maint man arrived.stating we 'froze up' the unit by adjusting the temp too low. Due to the hour of the day, we decided to stay the night, but slept very little due to the heat in the room. Room only had 3 towels. Leaving the hotel for dinner, we asked the front desk for towels our room & they handed them to us. I asked him if they could be taken to the room & he told us to just stop by on our way back to the room! Next morning I asked the front desk for an adjustment of the bill due to the documented circumstances & her reply was..the bill has already been pd therefore it couldn't be adjusted. Well....I paid that bill!!! I booked through an app specifically for booking hotels & used CC to pay. The front desk clerk didn't want to be bothered & because it was a Saturday, she wasn't willing to call a manager to make an adjustment. Due to all of the combined issues, I will not use this app any time in the future & I have deleted the 'app'!! A 'suite' was not what we got for the $$$ we paid!

Person at the front desk was very helpful and nice. However the room floor was dirty and the sheets had residual stains. Our floor also smelled like chlorine.

quick overnight in Austin.Posted Jul 27, 2013
Pros: Clean, great price, great location.
Cons: Peaked into the fitness center, I didn't get a chance to use it but it could definitely use a strong air freshener.
Location: Close enough to UT, downtown and great places to eat and drink.
We arrived, we went out, came back, slept, woke up and left. We made use of the in room fridge and the nice little couch area in the room that you don't see in most hotels in this price range.

How do you even find this hotel?Posted Jun 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Forget it if you don't have GPS...you'll never find it. We were there for a wedding. My friends had two rooms of 6. The key cards didn't work because their batteries were dead and the units didn't work. The air conditioners leaked all over the floor on the blankets. The hotel said they were so booked they didn't have any replacement blankets. Our room was fine though I looked out one morning to see the trash bin being lifted above my head by a trash truck. The water pressure was low. I called ahead to get extra pillows...I mentioned it again at check in. Guess what...no pillows. I had to call for them....my husband had to get them from the front desk to the room.
