Nice hotel ... perfect location!!!

Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Pool is very small.
Location: Location right in the heart of downtown by the convention center with all the nightspots within walking distance.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and neat. The location is perfect ... within walking distance to everything downtown.

Good location but not worth $400/night

Pros: Starbucks in the lobby, good size room.
Cons: Towels and robes would be nice.
Location: 6th street was two blocks away. Great jazz at the Elephant Room and the Austin Ale House offered a great brunch menu and $1. mimosas.
Our flight from DC was delayed 3 times and then cancelled at 6pm. We called to cancel our first night stay of the three nights we booked and they still charged us even though they were able to sell our room. Room was clean and comfortable but towels were low grade and they only stocked three at a time. Starbucks in the lobby was convenient. At $400. a night you would expect a safe and some robes each room. Our friends stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn which was 4 blocks from our location for half the price. They had better towels!

Robes are not available in any our of Courtyard brand hotels, but we are in the process of changing our supplier of towels across the entire brand. It was ok. The hotel seems to be split with a different hotel. One side is Gucci and other side is economy I guess. That's what I got from the people working there and their attitude and quality of service to anyone staying on right side of the building. I accidentally checked in on wrong side/hotel. Apparently they share same system so the lady was nice enough to check me in to the "other hotel" in same building.... but not before making the point to me that this side was not my hotel and that I need to go to the other side. "The economy side", Lol, whatever I went on my way. The hotel was alright. just needed a place to pass out after getting drunk that night. Had a cooler for my drinks and nice view. Close to 6th street so that was good. Room felt clean. Bathtub was clean too good for a bubble bath.
