“Too expensive for what I got”

.This hotel was located next to several other hotels that were considerable less expensive. I do not think the price differential represented any difference in quality. The rooms could use better soundproffing- I heard more noise (plumbing) at this hotel than I am accustomed to hearing in a hotel stay. Request a room in the back- it reduces the noise from I-35.

Area recommendations

Go see the bat colony that lives under the South Congress bridge fly out at sunset.

“just okay”

The room was adequate, the bed comfortable, and staff courteous. We were met with a strong smell of chlorine in the lobby (the indoor pool is just behind the lobby). Overall, I expected more from a Marriott Courtyard hotel.
