“Weekend Stay in Austin”

Clean and comfortable for my 2-day stay. Didn't really need the fridge, microwave and range, but they were clean and looked new. Cupboards well-stocked with dishes/flatware. Bathroom was very clean. The only negative is that the carpets looked like they needed a deep cleaning, although they were not terrible.

“smokey”

It was ok. The bathroom was a little dirty. The room was clean. The elevator, stairwell, and hallway were filled with cigarette smoke and ashtrays. It wasnt a very pleasent environment for my teenager. It was close to the highway and easy to access.

the room smelled like smoke. i am sure it was from surrounding smoking rooms. or from the bedspread. the motel is not easy to find.

“Inexpensive, you get what you pay for!”

We did not expect 4 star luxury for the price we paid, we just wanted the cheapest please for 1 night in a not too scary area. Plus we needed a room that was pet-friendly--this is the main reason we stayed here. The hotel staff was very nice, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the lady who checked us in was very friendly and upbeat. The young man there offered to help us with our bags even though he was off the clock. Everything worked in the room, property seemed well kept and we saw a patrol car in the parking lot twice which lent to a feeling of security and hopefully not a bad omen! My only complaint is that the room did not seem 100% clean. There was an old bar of soap left at the top of the shower ledge-gross! And a few marks on the wall and door from dirt or who knows what. So, other than the lack of cleanliness, the room was passable for the cheapest price I found on any travel website and I would stay there again.
