My friends and I had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back. The staff were warm and extremely helpful and the food was great! From my experiences with Embassy the rooms are always above satisfactory and this was the case as well!

Beautiful hotelPosted Dec 6, 2013
Cons: The toilet in our room had low water pressure
Location: The location isn't the best. It's situated between the freeway and a low rent residential area.
We stayed here recently during a trip to Austin and was definitely glad I spent the extra money to stay at such a nice place. The room we had was a suite and had a living room which was separated from the bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room impeccably clean. The toilet in the bathroom may need some attention as it flushed slowly each time. Although we didn't use it, our floor had a washing machine/dryer located next to the ice machine. There was a 2 hour happy hour where you could drink as much as you want and eat typical bar snacks. The breakfast in the morning was by far one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever been to. You can even have items made to order for no cost. Everyone we encountered from the front desk, to the maids, happy hour reception employees, to the bar at the Lynx restaurant on the first floor were extremely cheerful and made our stay pleasant.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in.Posted Nov 25, 2013
I cannot praise this hotel enough. It was a very reasonable price and had everything I could ask for in a hotel. We had a two room suite which meant that our daughter could have her own room and her own tv. It was very nice for my husband and I to have a space of our own and be able to watch our own movie without having to try and find a family movie that we could all watch. The room had very new furnishings, nice tvs, very comfortable beds and it was clean and quiet. My daughter thought it was too cool being on the top floor. She loved riding in the glass elevator. The lobby was beautiful. It had a koi pond which my daughter thought was just about the coolest thing ever. It had an indoor pool and hot tub. The pool was actually heated: I don't know how many times we have gone to a hotel that advertised a heated pool only to find it 60 degrees when we got there. We were there on a very cold day and it felt great. We were considering going out for dinner but again it was so cold we just decided to eat there in the hotel restaurant. It had a great ambience, decent prices, good food, and quick friendly service. We also got room service later on and it was quick and delicious. Now let me talk about the breakfast. They had a made to order omelet station with bacon and potatoes and pancakes. It was all so delicious. They also had just about every other breakfast food you could ask for. I was so stuffed by the end and of course it was all complimentary. Loved this hotel!!!

StaffPosted Nov 12, 2013
One of the waiters in the grill bar had an attitude with our group but was spoken to by manager. Other than that or him, everyone was friendly and stay was amazing. So much extras and fun. Hotel felt like a resort. We really enjoyed the 2 hour open bar before we headed to 6th street

Nice stay at this hotelPosted Nov 3, 2013
After reading some of the reviews before our trip I was a bit concerned, but the hotel was very nice, staff was friendly. Everything was in working order and clean. Very comfortable bed and bedding. We would stay in this hotel again. Free breakfast was great. Only complaint is locking of the gates on Clayton at night and the need to drive around to the I-35 entrance to get in. Doesn't seem to make sense.

Bea, Thank you for a very positive review. Just so you know, I decided to close the Clayton Lane gates to the property so our Video Camera System catches all traffic coming on to theproperty at night. I have a camera that is supposed to catch all license plates on the main entrance. Hospitably yours, Jim Reist , GM
