“Brief stay.”
Was only there briefly, but the staff was helpful and the room was clean.
“Extended Stay Hotel”
Very clean, convenient and welcoming. The staff were nice, The hotel was just the right distance away from 6 th street .. no noise at night and easy check out.
“good location great price!”
great location great price! if you just need a place to rest your head and hit up the nightlife don't spend more money. this hotel is close to the Star Bar and a few other good local spots!
“Highly recommend.”
For the price, you can't beat it. The location of this hotel is great! We didn't have a car while in Austin, but we didn't need one due to the location of this place. We were a quick walk away from so many restaurants, bars, running/biking trails, etc. The rooms were clean, and I love having the convenience of your own kitchen with a fridge. My wife and I don't like eating out at every meal, and with the flagship whole foods just blocks away, you can definitely cook a meal for yourself no problem. When comparing this hotel to other hotels in the same price range, this place gets all 5's (especially for location).
“Affordable hotel in heart of city”
.
“It's awesome if you wanna be next to 6th street!”
The bed coulda been a more comfortable and newer, the box spring had nasty looking stains on it. Overall it was a good stay!
“Good Location, Ok on the room”
If you are looking for a great location/low price/and don't care too much about having quality this is your place. The bedrooms are literally just a place to sleep nothing special at all but the location is right by all the bars and restaurants and easy to get to from the airport by the 100 bus. The bus is also out front to go to the Arboretum up north, which gets you there in 30 mins.
“Location, location, location”
The title says it all - the hotel is just blocks away from 6th Street and the warehouse district, and parking is free, so from that perspective, it's great. If you're looking for a 'nice' hotel - this isn't it. It has more of a feel of a dorm or a slightly dingy apartment building. There always seems to be someone partying in one of the rooms and you get a fair amount of traffic noise from outside at night. We've stayed there several times, so the downsides don't bother us as much as we like the upside of the location - and the fact that, unlike other downtown hotels, you don't find a parking charge of $20/night tacked onto your room rate.
“Great location”
The location is very convenient and walking distance to most areas of downtown. The property is fairly new, well-maintained and equipped with all of the needed appliances (microwave, fridge, toaster, etc). The only negative comment is the noise level. The property seems like an apartment building where you can hear people upstairs walking on the wood floors. Overall I was pleased.
“Not a very good Experience”
The front desk person intentionally did not answer the phone. This hotel definitely did not have enough people on staff for the amount of people staying there because of the Marathon. They ran out of pillows.
