“Austin Hotel”

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing needed is different pillows or perhaps a couple different texture thicknesses to sleep on. We will choose this hotel on our next visit to Austin.

“a definite "book again"”

this hotel is fairly new, no musty smell from the A/C, good layout of the hotel, the room is big, mattress could be softer, good service. breakfast buffet with quite a variety to choose from. price for the 5 day stay was really good had some trouble signing on to the internet

“Always comfortable”

Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly service and a really good breakfast. They had a western omlette on the breakfast buffet. I wasn't expecting a buffet omlette to be good but this really was. Just one more reason I like staying there.

“Great Hotel will stay again!”

We had 8 people in 3 rooms reserved for 2 nights for a wedding in Austin. Everything was nice! Everyone loved the hotel and the pool area was nice. The area is well lite and in a good area near downtown. Lindsey at the front desk was wonderful, very helpful, and went the extra mile for us when we had a minor problem that was quickly corrected. The manager Dawnell also went the extra mile for us. All of us had a great stay and the hotel was quiet and peaceful and the breakfast was also good, I look forward to staying with you guys again!

“Will always stay here when in Austin.”

We've stayed at this hotel several times and have always been extremely pleased with all aspectsof the stay. It's a convenient location, the rooms are great, the staff is always extremely helpful, the breakfast is awesome! We have absolutely no complaints and will return every time we come to Austin.

Except for a somewhat lacklaster breakfast offering Saturday morning, we we very impressed with the hotel. Would definitely stay there again while visiting relatives living in South Austin.

“Great deal, great hotel!”

I've always had good experiences at Hampton Inns and this one was no different. The staff was extremely friendly (Christina Marie gave me some wonderful local restaurant suggestions), the breakfast buffett was great, the pool was nice, the rooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable! i liked the fact that the hotel was only about 15 minutes away from the airport (and it had a shuttle which picked me up to take me to the airport at 4am - impressive!) The hotel was also only a 15 minute drive to downtown Austin. Perfect! The only ONE negative is that I stayed in a room on the non-smoking wing of the 2nd floor, but as soon as I walked out of my room, I could smell the smoke lingering down from the other end of the hall. That was definitely a negative, but not enough for me to give the hotel any bad ratings. But, if you're sensitive to smoke, request to stay on one of the other floors.

Have no complaints about anything with this hotel and its staff. Reasonably priced, comfortable, clean and easy access to Austin and Airport.

“Nice for the price”

Hampton South fit our needs for a one night stay in Austin. Although it's located at a major freeway intersection it was a quiet hotel and the guests were quiet as well. We did not indulge in the free breakfast but many other guests appeared to be enjoying it. Our room was very clean. Bed comfortable.
