Very convenient off of I-35; front desk clerk was very nice as we checked in!

Great hotel close to 6th street

Book this hotel for a girls trip, it was amazing. The staff was really nice and everything was super fancy.

Don't let the valet park you vehicle.

The hotel was great however other than one individual that was absolutely great, the valet was atrocious. They scratched the driver side door on my brand new truck. Absolutely unacceptable. If you're forcing visitors from out of two to choose between trying to find a parking spot in a city they're not familiar with, or allowing some 18 year old kid who doesn't respect others properly ensure that there is more attention to detail, and force your staff to be more respectful.

Great hotel to hang on 6th Street in Austin

Pros: Close to entertainment
Cons: I requested a wake-up call that never came and was late that morning
Hotel was nice, staff was nice, food was good. Perfect for a weekend get away!

My stay stay at Hilton Gardens in Austin

Pros: The people.
Cons: The price.
Location: We were near downtown and lots of restaurants.
I would rate the staff a 10 but it is too expensive of a place to stay unless you are on a company budget. It was great for 3 days with my grandson going to UT next year and we had to find a place to stay. I really don't like the idea of paying $30 a day for parking. BUT you won't find any friendlier than the people there. The Breakfast was wonderful

Beautiful hotel, kind and courteous staff, upgraded our room at no charge to a suite and enjoyed a Texas thunderstorm.

Cons: Larger workout area...yoga mats or padded floor area. Also, $4.00 for a water bottle is a bit steep!
The attentive staff, large variety for the morning meal & a room overlooking downtown...great stay

Fine if you want to party

We stayed with our two young children. I had advised the hotel that we would be arriving late with two kids asleep in the car. Firstly they did not have the 2 queen bed room available that we had booked, then we had to wait for housekeeping to bring linen to make up the sofa bed for the kids to sleep on. Secondly, every night we stayed, we were awoken by noisy guests continuing their partying in their rooms ... at 3am! Not overly impressed. Thirdly, when I asked one of the staff for directions, he looked at me blankly and said, 'Sorry, I don't know'. However, the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast room had fantastic views and the food was good. The 'pantry' stocked lots of useful items.
