“Behind Chuy's, my favorite resturant in Round Rock”

Great location, very clean and well equipped rooms. Breakfast buffet at $10 each is a little excessive. My stay was during several state softball and baseball playoffs in addition to Southwestern and UT graduations therefor the Motel was full of young people. The rooms were surprisingly pretty well sound proofed thankfully.

“Enjoyed My Stay”

When I checked into the hotel, there were cookies and beverages avaiable in the lobby. My room was clean and ready for my 3 night stay. The Internet service was adequate. The Dish Network did not carry the University of Texas football game.

“Excellent Hotel, Bad Intersection...use back entrance”

This hotel was extremely nice in this class. The room was extremely generous and the king bed was one of the more comfortable ones I've had at a hotel...mostly due to the quality bedding. The pool area was nice, though it was on the east side of the building so it lost the sun a little earlier in the evening. The location of this hotel is tricky. I would advise avoiding the traffic nightmare at the front entrance (I-35 service road) and using the rear entrance (Chisolm Trail I believe) exclusively. I did not order room service, but it is provided by nearby Saltgrass Steakhouse which is much better than the other two options nearby.

“WILL STAY THERE AGAIN”

EVERYTHING WAS NICE . WHEN I VISIT MY SON AGAIN WE WILL STAY HERE. THE STEAKHOUSE AND CRACKER BARRELL WAS IN WALKING DISTANCE ALSO CVS. MY HUSBAND LOVED IT AND SO DID MY SISTER.

“Reasonable price comfortable stay!”

When checking in front desk clerk was very nice. Room temperature needed some adjustments during our stay. Maintenance came up right away and fixed the problem but took two times. The front desk compensated the inconvenience with breakfast vouchers. Would go back to this hotel.

“Nice & Comfortable -- Yet We Couldn't Get Uninterrupted Sleep”

Hotel is in great condition. Nice lobby and sitting areas. Clean exercise room. Mattresses and linens were very comfortable. Minimal road noise from the freeway. AND, YET, we couldn't get a full nights sleep due to being woken up early by staff. Maintenance one morning around 8 a.m. He had to get some number off the tv panel. No one told us he would be in the room, and I wasn't going to let him in at first. Then, the next day we were woken by the maid at 8 a.m. Checkout time is noon! AND we were woken three mornings at 3 a.m. twice and 5 a.m. once because the TV randomly came on! What the heck!! We checked the alarm setting on the TV and it was set to 'off.' Maintenance told us to unplug it and not use it for 24 hours. Annoying! Then, the microwave wouldn't work and had to be replaced -- which it was within 15 minutes. So, its a nice facility with pleasant front desk staff but put out the do not disturb sign -- I would add my own sign as well taped at eye level -- and beware the appliances.
