“My Go-To Place in San Marcos”

As always, my stay at Holiday Inn was comfortable, easy, no-stress, and completely enjoyable. It is my 'go-to' place every time I'm in San Marcos...which is often! Thank you!

“NICE”

The room was superior, the overall hotel was clean. The room above has young children who seems to jump a lot, causing noise to us, once late at night and early in the mornng. We did complain to the front desk and they did speak with the occupants on both occasions, and obviously the guardians or parents of the children were not able to control them to stop the noise. Other than that, the hotel was nice and I will stay there again.

We found this Holiday Inn Express to be very clean and comfortable. There was a nice breakfast and a place to sit at night and enjoy a cup of coffee if you did not want to stay in your room. The hotel looks a little old but very nicely updated. It was in a great location with restaurants within walking distance. The room was well lit, clean and very comfortable. We even bought two of the wonderful pillows to take home. Easy access to I 35 in both directions.

“my first choice when visiting San Marcos, TX”

Having a student at Texas State University, I am often in San Marcos visiting and this hotel is always my first choice of places to stay. I enjoy the calm atmosphere, the clean and comfortable room, the breakfast served, and the friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting San Marcos.

“Will definitely stay again!”

In town attending a wedding. After calling several hotels in San Marcos, this was the only hotel with (1) room left, so we took it. Extremely glad we did!! We always book at another "name" hotel that happened to be right in front of this hotel. Spent a day in the pool, (no one else at the pool), very relaxing. The hotel across the way had numerous people in their pool (very crowded). Check-in was quick, staff very nice, hotel very clean, housekeeping did not beat on door at 9 am in the morning to clean room or rush you to check-out for the next guest to check-in. Breakfast was good. Only complaint - (1) small elevator.

Good place to stay - had a good variety for continental breakfast, nice clean room, bed was comfortable, location was very convenient from Texas State University and service desk was very helpful

“Good Value”

Our family stayed here for 4 nights. We thought overall, it was a good value and a convenient location since most of our activities were in neighboring towns. The employees were helpful and prompt. We had one minor problem in our room and they handled it quickly and efficiently. We liked the breakfast, too. Our only disappointment was that our room seemed humid all the time. We had beach towels and bathing suits that never dried. They were still damp two days after wearing them. yuck. The A/C just couldn't keep up. Given that we thought we paid a fairly inexpensive rate, we are likely to stay here again.

“On the Road”

The only complaint I had was that I asked for a non-smoking room, was confirmed that I had a non-smoking room but not given a non-smoking room. I do not like having to smell other people's smoke. Disappointed when we mentioned this problem when we checked out the clerk didn't seem to care. Otherwise room was comfortable, breakfast was great & location was convenient.

“Comfortable, Great Location for business”

Very well located if you are doing business in San Marcos. Oulets not far away either. Very good Red Lobster in the same block and also a Chilli`s. Will definetly go back
