“good location for south exploring”

trash had not been emptied from previous occupant, had to unplug fridge, way too noisy but other than that a good location and good reception.

“Reliable”

Good basic hotel. If the rates are cheaper on comparison to other hotels, worth a look. .Staff helpful. Clean rooms and space.. About a 15 min walk to Downtown 6th.

“Decent Budget Lodging”

Quiet clean room, friendly helpful staff. Suites include kitchenettes. No daily housekeeping service. A decent place to crash on a budget.

“Perfect for our needs!”

This hotel is almost in the heart of where to stay in Austin. Walking distance to downtown and the SoCo district. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was very accommodating and fixed minor problems promptly. (Our fridge was not working well and they replaced it right away!) Do not expect daily maid service or a well stocked kitchen. (A weekly cleaning is provided but daily will cost you extra.) If you need anything beyond what they have supplied your room, just ask at the desk and they will find it for you. (Including fresh towels should you need.) All in all, this is a great place to stay and we highly recommend it.It's not the Hilton but for the price, perfect!

“Nice hotel, so-so (but as expected) location, good price”

This hotel has big rooms (with kitchen units even), was much cheaper than others. There are buses that run up and down South 1st St. and South Congress and make it easy to get to campus or downtown (its $1 per ride, or $2 a day for a pass). Easy to walk around (at least in March when its not too hot) and only a mile from 6th St.

“Nice to stay a night or two”

The hotel is located near city center. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to 6th street. The people at the front desk were extremly helpful and ensured a pleasant stay.

“Austin Rocks”

This hotel is in a great location to many activities. The beds were pretty hard and need to be replaced with softer mattress. The hotel didn't have a pool and that was the one thing that would have made it just perfect.
