“Recent Conference”

accommodations/setting was spectacular! food was unbelievably good..........since you are so isolated/secluded and there is SO MUCH space, it would be nicer to have more eating/lounge options verus only one of each. Check in/check out process was both cumbersome and somewhat deceiving (i.e. "hidden" resort fees of $15/day, and if you check in with a debit card and not credit, you are automatically charged $100 PER DAY for your room in addition to the room charge. $100/day is refunded, but refund takes 5-7 days) Overall experience was very nice -it's a stunning place/location and although I did not golf, I heard the course was phenomenal!!

“Scrabble and food”

The hotel was clean, the employees happy to see us and we loved all of the art work and historical pictures on the wall with an explanation next to it. It was like going to a museum! We felt safe indoors and out and enjoyed seeing the two longhorns. We played scrabble next to a fireplace. Can't wait to go back in the summer and go horseback riding and play in the water park with the grand kids! oh, the food was tasty and the servings BIG.

“Spring Break with Older Kids”

Hyatt Lost Pines was a great place for my family and I to spend spring break. We were able to enjoy the pools and the lazy river, great food, clean comfortable accomodations and very friendly staff.

“A hidden oasis”

I'm always looking for nice and unique hotels while I travel for work. I came across this beauty. It's only 20 minutes from the airport which isn't bad, but if you are traveling anywhere else in Austin, it's a bit of a drive. But, it's worth it once you get there. Hotel speaks for itself. Staff is an extra bonus.

“Great hotel for families”

We were very happy with our stay at Hyatt Lost Pines. We took our two boys (7 & 3) for 3 nights and they had a blast. They loved the swimming pools (especially the beach area, the spray fountain and the water slide), watching movies at night by the pool, making s'mores, riding the hotel-provided bicycle and tricycle (free!), playing pick-up soccer in one of the large open areas, chasing toads in the evenings, and the dessert bar at the main restaurant. They also liked the pony rides - must pay for these - and my older son loved the golf course - he got to see horses and deer on the course. The environment was great: the trees and river were so relaxing. And my husband and I were happy to see the number of other children there. I will say that the food there was EXPENSIVE. The rooms do not have mini-fridges or microwaves so you can't really make meals in the rooms, and the hotel is quite a drive from civilization, so you couldn't easily run out to eat, either. We really were sad to leave, and we will definitely return.

“Great Resort, Restaurant service needs improvement”

Great Resort, Lots to do and enjoy, A bit overpriced Restaurant service was bad. Food quality was below standards for a resort this class Adding evening bed turndown srvice would be a nice touch

“Get lost in the spa at Lost Pines”

This is my favorite resort in Texas. I have never had bad service here. They go out of their way to accommodate your needs. They frequently check with you to see if everything is to your liking. There are a million things for you, for a romantic get away, birthday getaway or family get away.

“We'll be coming back for sure”

Hotel is brand new, just opened this summer. I was blown away by the excellent service and courteous staff. I have 2 autistic children whos doctor is in the area. This made the doctor visit a little more fun, and the kids couldn't stay out of the water. The Lazy Creek River is awesome, the waterslide was the perfect size for my 4 and 6 year olds. There is a nice kid's area with a sandy beach and shallow pools. This will become an annual vacation spot for me and my family.

“What a place (for those NOT on a budget)”

This is a great hotel for adults, maybe kids. Lots to do and they are very interested in your enjoyment of the facilities. This is a big place! It was not busy when we were there so perhaps that would change the review when things were hoppin' with the rich and famous.... Everything was top notch. Negative: You have to take a mini-bar key if you want to use the refrigerator - a bottle of water was $8.00! Parking was difficult unless you valet.
