Pros: Views, location and friendly team
Cons: Nothing really
Location: A short walk into downtown where there are many bars and restaurants. The lakeside walk is good and on the doorstep.
Lovely hotel in downtown Austin. Managed to get a lake view room after being allocated one at the side but they quickly moved us as we were next to renovation work being undertaken on rooms on that floor. The views were spectacular. Excellent team in the hotel

Undergoing renovations, but the room I stayed in had been updated at was pleasant. No mini-fridge. Great recommendations from the concierge and friendly check-in and out.

This Hyatt Regency is under construction, but we got one of the renovated rooms, and it's beautiful.

Beautiful view of the lake and downtown

Pros: Cleanliness, quiet
Cons: Nothing
The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff greeted us immediately upon arrival at the front door. The food was EXCELLENT! We were there on a business trip, and I was prepared to relax by the pool during my down time, but alas, the pool was closed for renovations. We had to look for other recreation away from the hotel, which was not the plan. However, it was a nice stay.

Plumbing issues

Nice, clean room. Biggest issue was with the bathroom, primarily the shower. The showerhead fixture and pipe were wrenched to the side, so the shower's only path for water was against the wall. It made bathing rather difficult.

This was a great experience!! The ruver is licated directly behind the hotel with direct access to a walking trail. The staff was great and the interior of the hotel was very nice as well. The only thing that could have been better were the outdated showers. Dont get wrong, the bathroom is very nice but I that for as nice as everythig was, the showers could have been more up to date. The shower was a combo shower/bath and the shower head and dials seemed like they could use an update.

Perfect location. Walkable across both bridges to the city. Clean, accommodating staff, close to running trails and Barton springs rd.
