We especially liked the walkability of the area around the hotel. We had trouble getting the HVAC to stay at chosen temps. Someone needs to check it out

We liked the close proximety to everything, the staff that we intereacted with was great. The cleaning people need to pay better attention to detail and clean hard floors and endtables.

The staff was extremely friendly and professional from the Valet to check-in to the bartenders. The building is very historical and fun to explore. My room was clean, comfortable and quite luxurious. All in all i enjoyed the hotel and will stay there again on my next visit to Austin.

This was a great location - easily walkable to restaurants, and a quick drive to other places we wanted to see. The valet is a little pricy, but does make it easy! The staff was super friendly, too.

Good location with lots of things within walking distance. Windows need to be cleaned. Wanted to eat breakfast but staff told me they wouldnt be able to get to us for quite a while although the place only had a few people. We had to go somewhere else for breakfast.

My daughter, her Doxipwoo Clooney, and I spent a couple of days at the Stephen F. Austin over the Christmas break. Jesus greeted us and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We had a wonderful time!

Free upgrade was advertised by Expedia and front desk would not honor it even though available. They demanded a 25 dollar cost on upgrade. Totally misleading by Expedia perk! Not good

We loved our time at The Stephen F Austin Royal Sonesta. The room was perfect. The bar and terrace was a unique highlight… the cocktails of the month are a must! Valet parking was very convenient too. Overall a wonderful stay!

Historic hotel with lots of cool character. Staff is charming and customer service is clearly a priority. The area is very fun. We walked around the capital, Riverwalk, and second Street all only a couple minutes from the hotel. Hotel has a well equipped brand new gym and a nice indoor pool and hot tub to enjoy on those cold days. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the restaurant and bar but those looked like they had great ambience and outside balcony seating.

The toilet backed up and no one took care of it. Then when we complained again they brought a plunger for us to do it.
