Quick over night get awayPosted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: The convenience of having restaurants and shopping around b/c it is located between Austin and Round Rock.
Location: Lots of restaurants near by and the different tourist locations we decided to visit were only about 15 min away each from the hotel.
Quick check in. They had my room ready even though I was a little bit early. I enjoyed it very much for an over night stay. Room was clean. Decent continental breakfast if you just want something quick to eat.

Very old hotel, does not live up to La Quinta standards. Will not stay at this one again.

Horrible experiencePosted Nov 24, 2014
Room smelled musty and dirty. The second room was the same but there was pubic hair in the bath tub!!!! I didn't stay. I checked out. The traffic noise from the highway was loud and so were the other guests that were staying there.

To bad to get some sleepPosted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: Quick bite breakfast, hot shower, comfy beds, and cable TV.
Cons: Breakfast, add plugs to the rooms, and when requesting an extra night clean the room.
Location: It's near downtown, in between north and south by taking the 35 expressway, plus there's an HEB a couple of blocks down.
My sister and I went to the ACL 2014 and decided to stay in this hotel because we have previously been there. The price is fair to have a place where to sleep, grab a quick snack in the morning with the breakfast and take some to your room for a late night snack. The room in which we stayed had microwave, minibar, and blowdryer. The only thing is that it looks beaten down, the place might need a bit more than just some paint here and there. My sister is really picky so she bended lots of her limits for the sake of comfort which was what La Quinta Inn Austin provided. I would definitely will go back to this hotel any other time I return to Austin, it's near downtown, in between north and south by taking the 35 expressway, plus there's an HEB a couple of blocks down. There's a Sears, Target, and several restaurants around. It may appear to be located way up north, but the driving around was very friendly. The only con was that it didn't have enough plugs to plug and charge our phones, but ultimately we unplugged a coupe of lamps :P

Terrible placePosted Oct 17, 2014
Overpriced and an unaccommodating staff. It was too expensive for what was offered.

Nice hotel, easy access to and from interstate.Posted Oct 14, 2014
Cons: Showers are a little tricky, very sensitive hot and cold taps.
Easy to find, decent room, quiet despite the nearness to the interstate.

Good for a short stayPosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: The room was clean
Cons: The grounds need to have some work done. It's looking rundown.
The lobby is a bit smelly, and the grounds could use a little work, but as far as the room itself goes, it was comfortable enough. It's good if you're just going to be there for sleep. It's not super easy to get to if you're heading south on 35. Be sure to take one exit early, otherwise you'll have to make a big loop back for a second try. Breakfast was ok. A bunch of prepackaged goods available.
