Nice hotel close to Southwest university

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: The room was very cool every evening after a hot day out and about. The staff cleaned everyday and everything smelled fresh.
Cons: Nothing. Very moderate, clean hotel.
Location: There are lots of eating and shopping places around the area since it is right off I-35.
Our group was there for a basketball camp at the university. I drove the players down and stayed at the hotel for 3 days. The location was great and it was very relaxing. Low key atmosphere.

Nice hotel close to southwestern college

I was there for 3 nights. I had a very comfortable bed, the room was cool after a hot day out, and was very clean. It was very relaxing especially by the pool.

Very dirty!

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Did not appear to have been cleaned with any care for quite some time. There were dead insects in the room, very dirty surfaces, and I washed the towels prior to using them. I was afraid to use the coffee maker, and also the breakfast (could have been ok, but considering). Don't usually comment, but this was not good by any measure. Clean it up and it would be fine.

Family road trip

Cons: Touch ups on visual things
Hotel was o.k. Remember having breakfast their as a kid on Sundays so the place is older. Rooms were nice and comfortable

Shabby

Posted Mar 19, 2014
No amenities like no business center, no printer, no gym. On 3rd floor and elevator not working. Breakfast poor. Overall, shabby hotel and way over priced.

Ok

Ok, but will not stay there again. I do not like the rooms were outside rooms.

Old and run down

Posted Feb 16, 2014
The towels are way to thin. The breakfast was the best part. This is an old run down property.

Decent hotel

Little bit inconvenient to get to but not their fault. I35 under construction. Sure would like some bacon to go with my waffle.

Get What You Pay For

Needed a room just for overnight after a local 2 day event. The room was clean and tidy (could use some dusting and vaccuming along the wall moldings) and it actually did have a flat screen TV (which we did not use). Its no ritz, but its very nice for the money. We will be staying here again next year when we come back for the same event.
