Lots of room for price!Posted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Price and all the room we had
Cons: The only thing noticed was that the carpets were dirty because we have a baby who is crawling, when we picked him up his knees were dirty from carpet.
Location: Not walking distance from downtown but it was maybe 2 miles away and close to university.
I traveled with my husband and our 2 children so we wanted a roomy hotel and good location but didnt want to pay an arm and a leg. This hotel was perfect for us. We stayed in the 2/2 loft styled room and it was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and we loved the kitchenette and living area. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay there anytime we visit Austin!

Good ValuePosted Nov 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
I chose this hotel because it offered two seperate bedrooms along with two seperate bathrooms. I was in Austin working with one of my employees so only having to rent one hotel room for the two of us was a MAJOR plus from an expense standpoint. This was originally an apartment complex that has been turned into an extened stay suite. The suite was clean and in decent shape and includes a full kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The wifi was fast (8-9Mb up and down) from our suite. The breakfast was very good which was also iimportant factor for my stay. I'll be staying there again on my upcoming visits.

Stay somewhere elsePosted Nov 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here last weekend when in town for the UT football game. We made this choice based on reviews we read. It was formerly an apartment complex but has been re-packaged as a "suite" hotel. To put it bluntly, the place is a dump. I don't know how anyone could give it even 2 or 2½, or *gasp* 4 or 5 stars, but if I could give it zero stars I would. The front desk staff didn't know how to provide good customer service. Our room was dirty, the bathtub faucet leaked, the refrigerator didn't work, and the ice maker was not hooked up, so we never had ice. The carpet had to be at least 30 years old and I don't think it's ever been cleaned. There was a visible line of dirt all around the edge of the carpet, and the tile in the bathroom and kitchen was cracked. A small thing that will illustrate our discomfort: the toilet seat was too small for the toilet, so whenever you sat down on it, you would touch the toilet bowl itself. Ick. Then to top it off, when we woke up Saturday morning, there was NO water pressure and no water would come out of the bathtub faucet or sink (let alone flush the toilet). The hotel staff offered no compensation. The free breakfast was cold and not appetizing at all; I would much prefer a $1 breakfast taco at a nearby Taco Cabana. As you might imagine, we both took very long, hot showers when we got home and washed all our clothes in hot water to kill anything we may have picked up in this place. Save yourself the aggravation and stay somewhere else!

Comfortable place to stay.Posted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: Beds were fantastic, room layout very nice.
Cons: Perhaps a few more types of cooking utensils would be good.
Location: Location was right off 35 and very easy to find.
The place was clean, the layout was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed just one night and brought along items to cook our breakfast, which was a nice cost savings to be able to do that. The coffee pot was not working but the hotel staff was very quick to answer our call for a new one. I would stay here again.

Nice Place to Call Home while on BusinessPosted Sep 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a nice place to call home while traveling for business. The suites are more like apartments so one has the comforts and feeling of being more at home than in a hotel. The price is great for the deal as they feed you a full dinner and breakfast each day. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Just the FactsPosted Sep 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
I'll start with the good: nice employees, convenient location, & great layout & size for room. I had the loft. There were two full-sized beds - one upstairs and one downstairs both with their own bathroom. The partition could be closed for privacy on the downstairs bed. It had a large flat screen tv with pivoting bracket, which came in handy since I didn't want to sit on the filthy couch. There was a full kitchen because the hotel is or was an apartment complex, which means free-standing buildings & outside room access for a less secure feeling. I had a plan to jump from the second floor balcony if someone broke in, but then that means I would have to touch the hideous drapes so it wasn't an easy choice. The room, mainly because of the drapes & couch, seemed like it would harbor bed bugs. I did not sleep under a sheet or blanket because of this reason. However, I never actually saw one insect. The room had a constantly foul odor, which seemed from either bug bombing the room or possible mildew. The toilet downstairs had basically no water pressure. There were some updates like granite countertops in the bathrooms. However, they should have finished by updating other things like drapery, couch, the hand towel holder & barstools from 1970, faucets, & appliances. Lastly, there was extremely poor Internet connection. I could not download any videos from various sites, & I would lose connection on my work's database about once every 10 min.
